29We as campers, always carry fresh water with us and have no.problem with it. The amenities are clean, showers have great pressure and they are free! There is a laundry and waste station for vans. I love the grounds and enjoyed our night there so much. I can see this park being our weekend 'thing to do".
Stayed out the back in our camper with hot showers and clean toilets, nice and safe with lots of sites, even power if you need. Had the best crumbed scallops I have ever tasted with beautiful fresh salad and chips. If you want to leave before 11am you just need to find the cleaner in the hotel to get your refund for your toilet keys. Love it
We stayed in our 8M van on a powered site for 2 weeks whilst we explored the area. We're grateful that such a nice place exists at a really good price. The caravan/camping area was grassy and having the pub facility there was really great. From this location it was easy to do day trips to; Rocky Cape lighthouse, Stanley, Arthur River, Wynyard, and Burnie.
We had two stays at the Rocky Cape Tavern Caravan Park. The first on our way west. The facilities and the meal in the tavern wer so good that we spent a further three nights and two dinners there on our return journey. At 16 dollars per night for power and all facilities it cannot be beaten. Recommend
Attended a wedding reception, the room was set up lovely however they didnt have any water for people to drink. No bottles or water in the whole tavern? Like really? Had to get a glass of ice and wait for it to melt. Other than that great staff very helpful and friendly
Stayed in the so called caravan park paid for a powered site and there was none left complained and staff couldn't of cared less leavi g the next day and wanted to get deposit back for keys so rang the number and the lady said just left will be half a hour omg
Absolutely fantastic. We have been to several restaurants on this tassie holiday (over 30 restaurants) and this meal was on par for 1st place.
They were super busy but yet still brought out our meals in good time and got everything right first go
