Raptor refuge reviews
32Definitely exceeded my expectations. Craig and Ziggy went out of their way to provide a great experience to the kids and educate us all while providing an invaluable service to the birds too. Great vision and hearts are in the right place.
Thoroughly enjoyed our visit today. Juliette's knowledge of each raptor is incredible and we have walked away with a new found respect for these beautiful creatures. Best part was being a small group, having all our questions answered and never felt rushed for time.
Very impressed with Craig's vision for the future and will be signing up as members to help support this extremely important cause.
There's a nice energy at Raptor Refuge. Knowledge, compassion, well planned enclosures and happy raptors. The volunteers/guides are so informed and welcoming.
Love the mix of landscaping, signage and art work too - it's a peaceful, healing place.
What an experience! Thank you!
An incredibly inspiring place. Well maintained. Birds are well looked after. I never tire of visiting.
Definitely worth a visit to see the amazing work and beautiful wildlife being cared for and rehabilitated by Craig and his team. Definitely an inspiring and heart warming experience
I had a tour recently and Jules spoke so passionately and described how and why they each bird made its way to the refuge. The work done by Craig and his crew is wonderful in supporting these magnificent birds of Tasmania.
Such a wonderful highlight of our holiday. The amazing work being done by these wonderful people. The kids really enjoyed themselves. The birds were amazing and the kids loved being able to touch the preserved wings
Would thoroughly recommend this private educational tour. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable and we certainly came away with a better appreciation for our feathered friends. Such majestic birds of prey, who are all in beautiful condition. Its an absolute credit to Craig and team for their ongoing hard work to care for and rehabilitate these beautiful Raptors. Well done team.
Highly recommend, such an amazing opportunity to be so close to hawks, owls and eagles. The highlight of my trip to Tasmania.
Absolutely the place to see Birds of Prey up close. Craig and his diligent volunteers provide an informative and interesting tour of the birds and facilities. The Wedge Tail Eagle is the highlight. Don't miss it!
Lots of pretty birds and quite educational, the work they do here rehabilitating these magnificent and endangered species is amazing to see. Wholeheartedly recommend to anyone visiting the area with a respect for our avian wildlife.
