Quamby Corner Caravan Park reviews
38Phenomenal spot! Amazing value for price ($28 powered site, inc shower, kitchen, free laundry). Dit, the owner, is so lovely! Great peaceful area, couldn’t recommend more!
Gorgeous place to stay. Peaceful, quiet and tidy. Bathrooms impeccable, good hot showers and free laundry. Complete kitchen and fireplace. Absolutely recommendable
Tasmanian hospitality is well practice here. Really nice helpful family run camp ground. Good clean facilities and power. Great spot.
Fantastic view of Quamby bluff, great amentities and very friendly hosts make this an awesome place to visit.
We stopped in for a night while travelling & it was beautiful & peaceful. Great set up. Very friendly
The best Tassie Caravan Park. Very reasonable rates, free showers, powered sites and huge fire pit. A very well equipped kitchen and very quiet. Great hosts. Have stayed in many places this trip and this place is a must
We arrived here in the dark after a very long day of travel. When we woke the next morning, we were amazed at the beauty of the surrounding hills and rolling pastures. The owners welcomed us with open arms. The sites are spacious. The amenities are super clean and showers hot. I'd recommend this spot to anyone seeking serenity and space.
Very friendly people, very good and clean toilet and shower block. The food pantry the have is great, but that camp kitchen is just awesome. Would highly recommend
A very pleasant stay. Very well set up. No extra charges for showers and laundry is great value. Great outlook at the base of Quamby Bluff.
Lovely park, natural. Don't let the photograph indicate what this rural park offers. Free use washing machines, hair dryer and baby changing station. VERY informative info board. Rustic but lovely camp kitchen and Dit the owner is VERY sweet. I wish other parks would take a leaf out of this parks book. $28 per night power&water. Free help yourself herb garden.
Such an excellent spot! Beautiful views, super comfortable and well equipped kitchen area, hot showers, clean toilets and the prices are so so good!
Stayed here for 3 weeks in September and having stayed previously at Deloraine caravan park there is no comparison! Quamby Brook was a short drive from everywhere. The owners were very friendly and I love that have groceries can buy to stock up.
The site was very quiet and peaceful. And the long term residents were all so friendly and welcoming.
I look forward to staying here again in the future.
Absolutely gorgeous place to stay in tassie.friendly staff and communal fire/bbq area is really lovely.would 100% visit again
Owned by a lovely family who helped me pull my campervan out of a bog.run by two cats belinging to the family.be warned the cats will regularly inspect caravans and tents of anyone showing a soft side.plenty of wood for night time campfire chats.spotty internet.clean, generous facilities.close to many great wilderness walks. Centre for harvesting work.
Some of the nicest people you’ll meet in Tasmania.and that’s saying something. Very laid back and relaxed with some good facilities. They even arranged a lift up the “hill” for me as legs no longer capable of peddling up that giant
Lovely spot to camp and excellent value for money with free laundry facilities (requested to limit use of dryer, and plan laundry for line drying) slightly off the beaten track. Bathrooms clean and ample when camp not packed. Two showers in the ladies that are a very generous size and a good, strong water flow. Open camp kitchen no worries in summer, not sure about winter.beautiful surrounds. Lots of longer term stay residents including backpackers due to weekly camping fee per person $60. All their weekly rates are for the 7th night free plus there are monthly caravan rates too.
After making an honast review, it appears that the individual responding seems to be trying to discredit me. A short stay that was not favorable. Such a shame and reflects on their character more than my own. Alot of conflicting reports.
Lovely spot really quite. Beautiful green surrounds, nestled in the Western Tiers. About 10-15 minutes outside of Deloraine. Powered and umpowered sites, toilets, disabled toilet/shower, toilets/showers, and a laundry, none of which you need coins for! (If you need to wash make sure you come in time to use the clothes line as there is no commercial size clothes dryer, just a small 5kg dryer that takes forever) all for $28 for 2 adults a night. It's not 'posh' but comfortable and quirky
