Quamby Corner Caravan Park

Really lovely small caravan park with incredible value for money at $30 for a powered site with water hookup, hot showers and free laundry facilities.

A very nice place with lovely people, hot showers, tranquility and awesome atmosphere. Best camping I had in all tasmania. Only 10 dollars for an unpowered site. Highly recommendable.

Unfortunately we had a bad experience. Even though this is a huge property, everyone gets squeezed into the same area, which is understandable from a management perspective. Upon check in we asked for a non powdered site, but were given a powdered one (without access to power), in his own words, for the manager's (or owner, not sure) convenience, not ours. Long story short, we were put on a towel sized site between a permanent van on one side and a coughing chain smoker in a van on the other. The people in the permanent van had their TV blaring until late at night, and the chain smoker, well, coughed and smoked uninterruptedly, waking us up in the early hours. We couldn't even have breakfast there, we had to pack up and leave. Yes, the park has great amenities but that is of no value when put on a site like this. If you want people to have a good experience, you should be more aware of how you organise your sites and where you put people.

This place was the perfect place for us as a family of five camping. We were situated near the amenities which ment we got phone service from the provided booster which helped keep the elderly children occupied with tech stuff in the evenings. The amenities and kitchen facilities were clean and tidy. Great hot water and pressure in the 2 showers in the mens bathroom. A very quiet destination in a central location. It's close to Deloraine, close to huntsman lake and bush walking tracks. Thanks so much Quambycorner Caravan Park, we loved our stay. Photo of nearby Huntsman lake.

Excellent value! Amazing customer service. Very friendly and relaxing atmosphere. Nice hot showers, clean toilets and laundry. I liked that there was a bin for food scraps (for chickens) in the kitchen area

I didn't ask if there was WiFi, because we were only staying one night, but it might be worth checking if staying for longer, as we didn't have much if any phone reception there, thankfully it wasn't a problem for us.

Excellent caravan park. The birds singing in the morning, the view, the peaceful location, easy amenities, clean and laundry is free to use. Space for the kids to run and play on trees. Seriously good.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Quamby Corner Caravan Park and I have to say, it was a truly delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the park's beautiful and well-maintained grounds. Dit the owner at the reception was incredibly friendly and helpful, and made the check-in process a breeze.

My caravan pitch was spacious and clean, and the facilities were top-notch. The bathrooms were always spotless and the showers had great water pressure. The park also has incredible views of Quamby bluff.

But perhaps the best part of my stay at Quamby Corner Caravan Park was the sense of community. It was clear that the staff and other guests were all there to have a good time and make the most of their holiday. I met so many wonderful people and made some great memories.

All in all, I can't recommend Quamby Corner Caravan Park highly enough. It's the perfect place for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Thank you to the team at Quamby Corner Caravan Park for a fantastic stay!

Very nice campervan site that brings all the confort in a calm environment. Amenities were well maintain and clean. The hot shower was clearly a +. The kitchen area is fully equipped and a great place to chill.
Adding to that, the tenant lady was nice and welcoming.

Great place, far from the very busy caravan park. The Lady was really nice, just 28$ for 2. The facilitues are really clean and tidy, hot shower and even a good hair dryer! Free laundry!

Nice area and great amenities, however this was overshadowed by dog poo everywhere and also being abused at night by one of the permanent residents about using the laundry and accusing us of being freeloaders. Permanent residents might not be happy having to share the place with other paying travellers- not sure - but it really did sour the experience. Owner was very friendly though!

Awesome stay

Stayed here only for one night after travelling over from NSW. The place was perfect for a family, facilities created by the owners were above and beyond to ensure people staying were made feel comfortable. The amenities were super clean and well looked after. Had a feeling of home about it.

Had a quick but good stay, bad weather but super grateful to have such a good, well-cleaned bathroom/shower area. Friendly and helpful site owners.

One of the top camps during our Campervan trip in TAS. The charges are nominal and the amenities are maintained really well. They don’t require additional coins for showers, laundry or anything else. They even give you basic groceries at woolies price. Overall has a natural surrounding with plenty of well marked powered and unpowered sites with late access. The owner is very friendly and nice to talk to.
