Wanted to check this out so glad we went but food was average and overpriced which is such a shame.

Atmosphere here is great, an icon of a place to visit once, was very busy but there isn't anything apart from this and the cheese place down the road in the area. Food was disappointing, the steak sandwich was not worth the price with the top layer of the sandwich left as there was so much sauce / relish that wasn't very tasty. If it wasn't for the pigs I don't think we would of ventured out there.

Great venue, nice hot chips, cold
tough, thin piece of meat inside steak sandwich which oozed with too much dressing on a nice salad. Good beer

Loved our experience today. I ordered off the specials and had the lamb shank with mash.omg devine! You don't need a knife and the flavour was amazing. Well done!

Very solid pub food and drink in an isolated location. Its a popular spot for travellers and well worth visiting for lunch.

Loved this for a tourist attraction, not a cheesy, money making trap at all.
All the animals are gorgeous and living their best lives.
Staff are super friendly and the food was delish and good value for money.
Highly recommend!

Special little pub, worth the visit and great place to stop for a bite. The servings were a little smaller than we expected from a country pub. Apple crumble was the highlight for me, delicious.

Location and scenery is beautiful but the food was not good. Expensive, we ordered burgers which tasted like cheap frozen patties, we couldn't finish one of them because of the taste and the serving size of chips on the side was disappointing considering how much we paid. We've heard so much about this place and made a big detour to visit but the whole experience was incredibly overhyped to us unfortunately.

A most interesting hotel with camping available. Lots of interesting things to view inside, a real insight into the area and its history.
We had the seafood chowder which was tasty but extremely salty.

A pretty neat spot for a beer, but a pint and small lemonade came to $20. The food was also expensive and no good unfortunately.

Name says it all. Genuine character pub. No bulldust. MUST drop in after St Columbus Falls. They are a must to see

What an amazing little place. Free camping in the Paddock next to the pub surrounded by luscious paddocks, dairy cows, birdlife. Owners very friendly and hospitable. Delicious meal of Garluc Prawns and Tasmania Scallops roe on! Short drive to the spectacular falls and rainforest walk.

I don’t think there is a pub with a better view! No beer on tap but the surroundings and atmosphere definitely make up for it

From the moment we arrived at pub the waitress was very rude, threw cutlery on counter no please or thank you. We ordered 2 starters and 2 mains. My main a seafood chowder arrived first. Then starter's which should have had plum sauce but came with BBQ Sauce. Then mains which left a lot to be desired. All in all a very unpleasant afternoon. Would not recommend especially if you get be same waitress.

Slow service to delver to wrong table an overpriced salad.

the bar looked ok but was unmanned
