Myrtle Park Camping & Recreation Ground reviews
33This place was beautiful lovely green sites and well spaced. We spotted a platypus in the stream in front of camp site 5
What a glorious little meeting place
Well kept nice and clean, lovely service from all around
I didnt camp but If camping there is so much space and options BBQ facilities, flushing toilets, hot showers, beautiful views of the river, camp fires avail with your plot
Enquired about price and was surprised how cheap it was
Highly recommend
We camped here for one night on the weekend, it was a great spot!
It was the first time camping with our young kids and we were a bit unorganised but we had a brilliant time. There's a river & someone has made a little rock wall/pool along the bank, which is perfect for little kids to splash around in.
They've got showers & toilets, a camp kitchen with bbqs & sinks, a cafe which is also stocked with some necessities, large camping spots, a playground, tennis courts, a cricket pitch and friendly owners. We'll definitely stay for longer next time.
Very calm, relaxing, clean, friendly and lot of things to do for families with younger campers/travelers, by the St. Patrick’s river. In top 10 personal favorites (Tas). 30-45 min NE of Launceston.
Rude and ignorant NSW campers. 3 vans ans sectioned off the area and put there toilet on ours facing our camp. We only said hello?
30 min from Launceston is this gorgeous camping area. A council managed campground with shop. Large camp spots line the river with lovely park lands in the middle complete with kids playground, tennis court & cricket pitch. Toilets & firepits shower block under construction.
Always a lovely camping sites. Been going there for 10 years with the family.
Good showers, nicely grassed, playground for the kids, trout in the river and limited numbers only so not overly crowded.
A must go, even for a day trip picnic, and only 20 minutes from Launceston.
This place is an absolute treasure. We stumbled on it accidentally and it was one of the best places we stayed on our roadtrip around Tassie. It's in a serene location, the facilities are great and it wasn't overcrowded at all. There's this massive tree that feels majestic and there's the creek so close by. Honestly, it's just a fairyland campsite that I still think about six months later.
Such a beautiful camp ground! Large camp sites, hot showers/toilets and even a free laundry. There’s also a cafe to get your coffee fix. It was very quiet and peaceful when we stayed. Even saw a a few platypus in the river. Would highly recommend.
Best Hot Chips in Tasmania and the most wonderful quiet haven to stay the night.this is our favourite place to escape too
What a wonderful place to go camping especially with kids. Clean toilets, hot water shower, play grounds, plenty of space for bike riding. Had an amazing time. Surely visit again.
Friendly staff, beautiful spot on the river, fire pits at some sites, cooking, bathroom hot shower facilities
Such a beautiful safe, friendly campground. Staff were wonderful. Clean amenities. We will be back
Who doesn't love large camp sites by the river.
Kid friendly and just magical.
Clean toilets and hot showers you can't go wrong.
One of the best paid campgrounds in Tasmania, has toilets, showers, laundry, awesome camp kitchen, fire pits at some sites. Other councils in Tassie could learn a thing or two from this place. Well done Launceston City Council.
What camp site has Dyson hand dryers and a laundry? This one does. It has nice grass areas and a lovely river. Toilets are a bit of a walk but good for a stay and relax.
A very nice campground, and you can opt to camp beside the small river! A basic camp kitchen and the surroundings is really nice.
Toilets and showers dirty bins not emptyed, dogs of leads don't make rules if not going to enforce it
27mins from Launceston, plenty of space, flushable clean toilets and hot showers, picnic tables and fire pits. $7.50 per adult (reasonable!)
Arrived for one night at the end of November.stargazed for 20-30mins and saw 2-3 shooting stars, at least 10 satellites and spotted a pademelon (wallaby) swimming across the rapidly moving river!
This place is totally Awesome, people who run it are wonderful, they run movies for children (I mean me, im a big kid), everything is clean, and dogs welcome. I love this place and I will be back ?
