AMAZING! This is one of the most amazing experience I have ever had. Mountain Valley is located at the heart of an exceptional reserve with lots of wildlife, a great river, huge caves and tons of walking tracks. It is not far away from the Cradle Mountain national park as well.
Len is a great host happy to show you platypus and his beautiful glow worm cave.
And the most magical moment comes at night when you can experience the wildlife eating right in front of your room. Tasmanian devils, possums, pademelon, quolls ans sometimes wombat.

What a perfect place to rest and enjoy nature! Len and his wife, locals since 1971 if I’m correct are so so nice! We enjoyed listening Len’s stories about the place, Tasmania’s history, wildlife and our daughter 2yo loved to see animals outdoor and even on the porch at night. We loved this place and we felt like we were at home in a very comfy cabin with beautiful views of the Black Bluff mountain. We stayed for 2 nights but we could have stayed more! Hikes from the cabin, Leven canyon park to hike with great look out of the river. It feels so good to spend time in a remote place with such nature lovers as Len, it was a real pleasure!
