Nice winery which is a short drive from Launceston. My partner did a tasting and we shared a tasting platter. Both staff and the setting were very pleasant.
We enjoyed our visit

An amazing and stylish winery. The tasting experience was fantastic, and the Chardonnay was so good that we just had to return a couple of days later to purchase another bottle

Fabulous wines, impressive grazing plate, just a little lacking in info on the wines. Needed to ask questions rather than being offered the information.

We had a great experience at Moores Hill. Just what we were looking for, the platters were amazing and the wine testing was great (my favourite was Rose)
The service was impeccable and would definitely come back one day!

We came for the wine tasting. There was an excellent selection of wine: red, white and sparkling. We selected this winery to visit because they advertised themselves as solar powered.

Today, we came for the solar. The next time we e visit it will be for the wine.

How do you rate a place like this? As a wine bar, you get an excellent cheese plate with local produce amongst the vines. As a cellar door where you're looking to converse about the wine and taste some interesting wines, it falls short. The wines were okay, and came without any descriptions. The platter was excellent and they had a great set up.

A short drive from Launceston making it another ideal winery to enjoy a tasting or glass of wine along with a generous platter. Warm and welcoming.

An excellent Vineyard! Quality, delicious wine went down rather easily, accompanied by a splendid array of cheeses, meats and spreads. Staff were attentive, knowledgable and friendly. The views were stunning to top it all off. Definitely will be returning.

Great venue, enjoyed the wine, ambience, views, shame about the aggressive, sour, disposition of one of the front of counter, wait staff.

Staff not interacting with guests at all in any way, no story about there wine. The flight was just put in front of us, while staff sat on another table doing paperwork stayed for lunch and asked For seafood plate. No conversations petty because we were told something different

It’s been a few years since we have had a chance to visit but still regularly order wine…

This family run vineyard is a must for anyone visiting the Tamar. The wines excellent set in the most beautiful environment. Excellent service.

If you can’t get there, order a case: Riesling, Chardonnay and Pinots are all exceptional! Love this place!

Had such a lovely time we came back again on the same day. Reasonably priced, great service, fantastic views, yummy wine & nibbles. We had the wine flight which was inclusive of 4 wines of your choice - tasted great and was such good value. After pondering other wineries on our Tuesday afternoon and not being as impressed, we came back for the grazing board. Loved that we could wander off on our own & the adorable dog on the site for company. Would definitely come back again

Wonderful husband and wife run winery, great wine and absolutely amazing local produce platters. We stopped in without appointment for a tasting and stayed longer than planned. Wish we had booked an outside table, gets busy weekends. Highly recommend a visit.

Absolutley love this place. One of my faves. Beautiful wine, delicious platters & very friendly with a relaxing atmosphere
Moores Hill Estate is a family-owned vineyard in the Tamar Valley, Northern Tasmania.
The wines are made on-site at Tasmania's first 100% solar powered winery.producing a range of wines from Sparkling, Riesling, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
Take in the sweeping views over the vineyard from the cellar door and relax with a tasting plate of Tasmanian produce and a glass of wine.
Tasmanian whisky tasting, coffee and souvenirs are also available.
Open daily, all year round for tastings, sales and most importantly, a chat about cool-climate wines.
The cellar door is half an hour's drive from Launceston (40 kilometres/25 miles)
