Vegans don't bother going to this store. Only options are meat or cheese based food. Not good enough in 2021.

Beautifully moist and tender BBQ chook with seasoning. Quite large as well for $14.50. The young fella serving does his job of taking your order, getting your order and taking your money and I guess that's all he's being paid to do it seems.

Waited for ages for a meat lovers pizza omg the worse pizza ever bland, with cheap ingredients would not eat and we’re both starving and still walked out went to bed starving

Where do I start. First of all food is extremely overpriced. I ordered 3 pizzas at 7: 30 PM. By approx 8: 30 PM my order was not ready. I had seen a few customers who seem like regulars walk in and walk out with pizzas. I finally decided to cancel and the lady at the counter offered no apologies and was more interested in arguing about it being 50 mins rather than 60 mins wait. She Cancelled the order and probably knew very well that there wont be any restaurants open to buy dinner from. If not for a couple of restaurants who's chefs were kind enough to prepare some basic dishes inspite of being beyond the closing, my family would have gone hungry all night. Shame on you guys. I would warn anyone visiting Strahan to stay away.

Typical caravan Takeaway shop with a little bit of everything. Pizzas are good and they have a pretty large menu including salads, sandwiches and cakes in the fridge. Most annoying part is the beep at the door as it is a busy place it constantly is going beeping it would drive me mad if I worked here! The young kid that served us was absolutely fantastic great customer service skills, even though it was flat out!

Slow to serve, place seems desperately understaffed, and remaining staff seem demotivated.
I ordered a cup of chips, expecting them to be ready in 5-10 minutes. It took 25-30 minutes for them to be ready. I understand that they were preparing other food but chips do not take long.
There was only two staff to take orders AND cook, on a Saturday night, only takeout place in town. To top it off, during my half hour wait, both members of staff took breaks! Yes staff need to take a quick break every now and again, but this signals demotivation and understaffing issues.

A positive of all of this - I received more chips than I bargained for.

We were here a few weeks back on the long weekend.
There was a pizza special and it was the best value meal we had on our lap of Tassie.
There were 2 girls working and it was flat out! All tables in and outside were full and lots of other people hovering waiting for takeaways. I was so impressed with how these girls handled the busy situation!
The pizza was delicious! The garlic bread amazing and a 1.25l of coke, all for $20!

Firstly, terrible customer service. Secondly, I ordered crumbed fish but when i opened the box it was battered. Thirdly, my meal was missing the salad. When i returned they did not offer an apology but made the missing salad only for it to have plastic in it! So i went back yet again and was given another salad but it was a complete different kind. This place can't seem to get a thing right. Very disappointed with my experience at Molly's cafe.

Efficient service given the number of customers. Friendly service. Handy range of grocery items. Huge works burger at a fair price. Generous serve of wedges for price.

Local cafe with a variety of take away food including fish snd chips, pizza snd lots more. Can be very busy as it seems to be the only takeaway in Strahan. Food was fresh, cafe clean and well stocked.

Most expensive place I have been to in Tasmania. $7.80 for ice coffee where anywhere else I pay $3.80.keep your money and go to IGA

Price was more than advertised, and when I asked about it, I just got a response saying “I’ll have to tell the boss”.

Sea food pack was soggy chips, thawed prawns and scalaps, but nice enough fish fillets.

Asked for the gravy I’d pay $4 for, and was quizzed wheter id actually paid for it (5mins earlier).

Second from worse food I had in tasmania.

Dear Molly,

Over the phone I placed an order for a vegetarian pizza. In between the cacophony of sound from your customers you asked, “cheese? ”

Now, of course I wanted cheese on my pizza; a pizza without cheese is just upsetting.

However, the result was 90% cheese and 10% pizza. Now, unless this was an overt attempt at trying to covert a vegetarian to go vegan, I really wish I had retained my $20.00 for more chips.

We were here in 2016 and we liked here. Back this year.we are very disappointed. Business is selling.maybe that's why

Deep fried seafood is quite oily but that's to be expected. The salt and pepper squid is quite salty but the scallop and calamari was nice. The calamari wasn't tough at all which is nice.

Best chips I’ve had in Tassie; that perfect meld of crunch and soft potato. 5/5. Our family gobbled them all up.
Conveniently located near the cabins we stayed in, and really good service

Super friendly staff. Great food with a small dine in area or easy take-away. A great stop for us along our travels.

Beautiful people, beautiful food, just travelling through and very impressed with the customer service. Do you self a favour and grab a meal and support this small local business.

Phoned to find out waiting time. Phoned back 5 minutes later to find waiting time increased. Went to collect - young lady took my money after leaving me standing at counter for a full five minutes and said wouldn’t be long! After 10 minutes queried and told oh dear they had burnt my order. One part was in Baine Marie curling at edges from being there so long and the other pizza had not even been prepared. Not my fault she said, I’ve only just found out! Got money back and went. So one star coz that’s the minimum. Care factor from staff should have given this a minus star.

Absolutely horrendous. Waited 50 mins for TWO burgers. When enquiring, I was greeted by unbelievably rude staff. If you're passing through Strahan, give this place a pass and keep going into the town centre instead.
