Miners Gold Brewery reviews
43We loved the atmosphere here, the beers were really nice and we had a great time. Definitely worth visiting!
Fantastic service, so welcoming!
Lovely place to visit on the deck on a sunny summers day or very cosy on a wet wooly day as the fires are lovely too.
Food was yum and hubby says the tasting paddle of beers (8 of them!) is the go. Definitely recommend
So proud to have this little gem on our back door step! Great food, great business and most of all great beer! A must when visiting Tasmania/launceston
Totally smashable miners gold fog on the tamar, hasy pale ale. Got me through cobid quarantine. Keen to visit the brewery
Friendly service, nice setting just off the main street and a diverse range of tasty beers. Grazing board is a great way to accompany a flight of beers
Very cool industrial style brewery! Big range of tap beers, some being right up there with the best i've had & delicious food.a must watch video displayed in the brewery shows the incredibe transformation from a run down miners cottage to a top shelf craft brewery!
Beer is okay with limited food options.we went at about 3pm and told kitchen was closed, so beer was still available, but there are kids there.quite confusing.
Lovely family owned business with great beer, great food and a nice atmosphere. What more can you ask for?
They are new but giving it a good nudge. Very good s and food is dynamite. Prices are very good and not hurtful. Well done Miners Gold Brewing. Worth the visit.
My wife and I must have caught the staff on a really bad day yesterday! We ordered a meal with our drinks but then wifey decided 10 mins later she wanted something additional, so we got that added. 3/4 of an hour later, she got served but mine, which was just the cold platter, was dished up 10 mins later. On both occasions the waitress said she couldn't find us, which I find to be a somewhat bizarre statement to make, given we were just seated in the dining area! On one trip to the bar I waited behind a couple who ordered and left. Barman then left the bar to go elsewhere which left a younger guy, who was putting glasses away in the fridge. I waited for at least 3 mins before he looked up and asked if I was being served? ! We overheard at least 2 customers complain about how long their meals were taking and at least one was refunded her order. Enjoyed our meals that we had but I didn't highly rate the beers. Had 3 different ones and the English Strong Ale was my pick but having sampled numerous craft beers over the past two weeks in Tasmania, these were probably the weakest of the lot. As I said, we probably just got a bad day and I note that their Facebook page has an open apology for yesterday but for me it wasn't just about the length of time for food service. I wish then well for the future because obviously a lot of time, effort and money has been put into a great venture but just think their front end service just needs to be sharper.
Well, this is an absolutely up and coming place. The owners have invested their heart and soul to totally modernising this place whole maintained the rustic charm of the buildings history. The distillery is fantastically laid out so on entry, you pass through the heart of the distillery. The beer choice is fantastic, and for the non-beer drinker I actually found a beer I liked. The food here is easy and compliments a relaxing afternoon. Caters for two-prople through to mixed-large groups. Lots of car parking space. Really clean. Well done. So glad our local friend took us here. We also were provided a tour of how the distillery is operation. A passion that is so evident in the beer that is produced. Well done.
Great beer and food. You have to get there early as they don't have enough seating for more than 30 people. Over all a must for beer lovers
Amazing micro brewery we came across in Beaconsfield next to the Mine Museum. The staff were excellent and the atmosphere fantastic. Well worth a beer and chat!
Awesome brewery, well worth the trip. Brewer has a mature offering (not watery or weak flavour) with some adventurous styles, great food and atmosphere.
Visited the brewery after the mines museum and was delighted how good the experience was. Great service from a new local tourist enterprise.
Well done on good beer and food.
10/10. Supporting Tasmania
Great brews, lovely staff and good history. Would suggest just a couple more options on the food menu, but still fantastic.
A nice little selection of locally crafted beers, the food was absolutely fantastic! Friendly and relaxed environment, will definitely go again.
Would go back, friendly service and the board games were great. Want to taste more brews and some hearty food.
