Mersey Bluff Caravan Park

We arrived late at night. We were unable to book online as it was last minute. Luke and his family were able to accommodate our motorhome.

They are a loving family and their service is second to none.

We had booked our stay some weeks before arrival advising our vehicle size. There were mishaps with the ferry resulting in all passengers arriving in late. On arrival he joked that we had a very difficult site, I thought he was joking. Unfortunately the manager put us in our 8 metre motorhome on an uneven site on a sloping hill. In the morning we discovered a huge rock was a fraction away from causing damage to our rear. I note people talked about the great views which I didn’t get to see, we just wanted to get out of the site asap. This required the owner arranging to move 2 vehicles and the owner guiding us out. In our extended trip, this was by far the worst site we ever encountered and hope we never experience ever again. The Manager was very helpful but very dissappointed that knowing our size put us on the worst available site, even though we had an advance booking.

Fabulous location if using The Spirit of Tasmania. Very friendly and helpful staff and gorgeous picturesque setting.

Such wonderful people that run this place. Never felt like anything was a hassle. Such a friendly, helpful, hard working couple. Such a pleasure to come and stay that we have stayed extra nights

Apart from the spectacular views, the owners Luca and Caroline, were very friendly and helpful, I would highly recommend staying at their park.cheers Clay, Janice, bob, Janis.

Haven't been to Tassie in over 4 years and Mersey Bluff never gets old.
The views are breathtaking!

We were in a big Motorhome, and scored a high view bay that was amazing. The showers and toilets clean, but the 4-5 minute timed shower sucked, in fact after this I asked and avoided any further parks with the same shower timers, wife caught out washing hair, and no fun in winter moving shower stall to finish off.
Pretty incredible camp kitchen, better than majority of peoples houses.

Great friendly helpful staff, beautiful spot overlooking the bay, fires aloud. Great facilities

Best caravan park in Tasmania and great views, very good managers and amenities very clean as well as excellent value for money at $35.00 per night powered site congratulations to the council for retaining a great park and employing such good managers who stayed up untill we arrived in our hired motorhome from Hobart thank you.

I am happy going to the bluff as much as I can lovely couple running the park you should try it

Wonderful park.great views from huge sites and amenities clean with new appliances.
Owners very helpful allowing us to leave van on-site (low season) as we have overnight sail on Spirit.
Would highly recommend.

View was great, close to town, lighthouse at the top of the hill was cool and the facilities were clean, tidy and well maintained. Best park on our tassy trip so far

Good campsite, facilities are really good and clean. Even music in the shower block! A bit of a walk to the CBD but nice walk alongside the coast.

A great spot to camp, irrespective of whether you're nearby to either arrive or depart on Spirit. Carolyn and Luke are excellent hosts, and look after their place beautifully. Given its proximity to Devonport as a central hub, and close to Ulverstone, Penguin, Burnie and Launceston in the other direction, it's very solid value too. The individual sites are generous and well-connected to services. The beach is fantastic, as are local restaurants and cafés. Highly-recommended. A+

Great park. Spotless, new top of the range washing and kitchen facilities. Very helpful management, nothing is too much trouble. And all this backed by a fabulous view, beautiful beach and a top restaurant. Why wouldn't you stay here?

Perfect location with epic ocean views. Watch the Spirit of Tasmania come and go each day/night, take an easy walk up to the Bluff lighthouse for spectacular sunset views.

The sites are super roomy, grassy and the little animals that hop about at night are cute!

The facilities are clean and modern and the showers night and hot.

Best of all are the owners, they met us after we come off the ship in the evening and took us up to our spot, they couldn't have been nicer and have excellent advice for things to do and see.

We loved this park and will definitely be back, a real treasure!
