Marakoopa Cafe reviews
30Tasty food but a bit expensive. Handy for a coffee if you've got some time to burn before touring the Marakoopa Caves. They appear to do some live music some nights.
Friendly staff, cool and comfy setting. Great community focus, music and film nights. Loved the coffee.
Nice coffee service with a smile friendly food good to vegetarian meals to if you are that way inclined
Coffee was OK, food was slightly expensive, small portion sizes for treats which was disappointing as some of them are quite expensive for the size.
Food is reasonably good and setting is so rustic and charming. They even have a country-style movie room. The staff was so welcoming and warm.
$7.50 for 2 scones with jam and coffee (no single scone option) - scone was soft and warm, jam ordinary (store bought). Tea was generic (Twinnings) and $4 for a cup. Beautiful setting and nice cakes. (We didn’t eat a meal but they looked good).
Great stop to make after visiting the Marakoopa/Mole Creek Caves. The seating outback is lovely - wide open fields and a little farm. I really enjoyed my veggie panini!
Good little stop near Marskoopa Caves (Mole Creek caves). Small menu but good quality produce. Friendly staff. Highlight is the setting and views mixed with quality service from a small team. Options for gifts or small goods to purchase as souvenirs
Just down the road from the caves this cafe is amazing and a “must stop” stop! Tasty food. Excellent coffee and a view to sit and look at that brings peace to your heart. The host is a wonderful lady who will chat or leave you alone. The decor is fitting and comfortable. A great place to visit after your cave tour.
Hands down the best coffee we have had on our holiday. We stopped here after a trip to the glow worms - nice and relaxed and very welcoming (cafe that is not the worms)
If you come to Tassie, put this charming venue on your list. Lovely gardens, tasty cafe meals and music events to brighten your afternoon. We saw Zac Henderson and others this arvo and they were just fabulous. The space is intimate, warm and inviting. I am looking forward to the summer outdoor events on the grassy tiered lawn.
Cute little cafe situated in the most stunning surrounds. Can highly recommend their hotdogs with homemade condiments. Well worth a visit whether you are out for the caves or not.
Extremely cosy, a limited but tasty menu, and adorable scenery. For a cafe that appears to entirely base it's business on the nearby cave tourism, I was extremely happy.
Simple and delicious menu serving as a fine complement to the warm and genuine hospitality. Drop in to warm up after your cave adventure.
A really good friendly cafe lovely people only to happy to happy to help in any way good coffee and food.
Great coffee and scones with jam and cream. Staff and service very good bit best thing after visit to Marakoopa cave was to sit out in the sunshine and enjoy a great flat white coffee washing down a tasty scone yummy
What a fabulous little cafe with owners who are really hospitable. We shared stories of food, but when I gave them an apple that I bought in Huonville they reciprocated with a heritage one of their own. If you are in the area, do yourself a favour & go there
Very friendly and family-friendly staff. Some different and unusual choices, or just get a toasted sandwich. You might want to park on the road rather than trying to come into the very small carpark, but plenty of places to sit outside or inside. The staff member even made sure to make the ice cream scoops sit neatly inside the waffle cone for my kids, so for once they didn't end up with ice cream all over themselves! Generous fillings in the sandwiches and very yummy muffins.
She was very friendly and the coffee was nice. The gardens surrounding the property were very welcoming and it was an enjoyable way to spend 10-15 minutes before heading to the caves.
