Black angus scotch was amazing. They ran out of wagyu rump cap which is what we came for, but still a great steak. Get the mash, and beans! Not the biggest fan of pepperberry and cognac sauce, would go for the cabernet jus next time. Will be back once I’m in Hobart again.

What an amazing dining experience, we went here for a beautiful celebration dinner and we were delighted. Well done also to Amir was a wonderful waiter!

This is a classy steakhouse and great service. Love the cafe de Paris sauce and charred greens that came with the steak. Perfectly medium rare!

I can’t fault the experience I had. We were seated near a very loud group of men and when we requested a quieter table, the staff were more than accommodating. The food was divine and my dinner guests said their steaks were so good they didn’t want to add any sauce to it! Very nice staff and my favourite part was the assortment of yummy side dishes

Smoky flavour to meat that is not something you get everywhere, greens were cooked well, dessert was tasty. We had a good time.

We had a wonderful dinner. Steak was delicious with the roasted potatoes and salad. The tartare was amazing!

Had a fabulous birthday dinner at Landscape. Staff went above and beyond. Their warmth, knowledge of the produce, and genuine attitudes made it a lovely dining experience. The food was exceptional - a meal I won't forget in a hurry.

Our server was Hayden and his service was excellent. All staff were very accommodating, especially since we forgot to let them know we'd have a pram with us!

The food was fantastic and not just the grilled food - the oysters and broccolli/carrot sides were amazing

My husband and I came to Landscape during our visit to Hobart for our honeymoon.

The experience from the moment we walked in, was of the highest calibre. The mood lighting and art work by John Glover on the walls created a unique and very ambient dining experience. The decor matched the menu so well. It was all tied together beautifully.

I ordered the sashimi as an entree which was incredibly flavoursome. Then for main, I ordered the 200g eye fillet cooked rare. Without any exaggeration, this was honestly the best steak I have eaten in my entire life. It was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth with every bite.

Special mention to Asia and Thaulien who went over and above to ensure we ordered foods and paired them with wines we would love.

If you’re looking for a fine dining experience whilst in Hobart, look no further. Make sure you book ahead though.

Thoroughly enjoyed! Hayden was our waiter and absolutely made my partner and I feel at home. Excellent service. Beautiful food! A must see if you visit Hobart.

Very loud tables next to us.voices echo and it spoiled the whole atmosphere.can barely have a decent conversation without yelling at the top of my voice.left with a migraine

Amazing in every sense of the word. The best steak I have ever eaten and one of the best dining experiences I have had. Impeccable service, beautiful ambience and outstanding dishes. If you appreciate art and local history it will tick those boxes too. 5 stars all the way.

Being a single in a room full of groups and couple I thought I will feel like a duck out of water but staff were attentive and made me feel welcome. The meal was amazing steak and chips on a grand scale, so delicious with a dessert that would have wow the Master Chef judges. Definitely the place to go should you wish to spoil yourself

If service was quicker I would have given 5 stars. Steak cooked to perfection and sides complimented well. Would have loved to see chef use grill style for desserts as well.

When you see duck fat chips, you know they are not joking around, you know they are serious about food.
So you just believe that anything on that menu is going to be perfect.
The char-grilled octopus was seasoned perfectly, with that char-grilled after taste. Got me on that first bite.
T-bone was perfect medium-rare, tender, juicy. It’s hard to keep that juiciness on a grill. I should’ve gone for a wagyu.
Fish was seared nicely, crispy outside, tender inside.
Mushroom special, that truffle butter, oh mine. With the crispy garlic chips, the contrast on texture was worth that special.
Even desserts were amazing, saffron sponge has that satisfying texture, finishing off with the freshness of blood orange.
And did I say the duck fat pink eye? We had 2 serves of these!

Sorry, didn’t take any photos, cuz I was too busy enjoying the food!

Nice decor and good service, although service was a bit pretentious (harking back to early last century). Wine choices excellent and prices reasonable. The octopus was excellent, a tad small though. The risotto was fantastic, but T-bone was too tough and not marbled at all.

If you want a steak in fine dining surrounds this is the place. Food, excellent. Service, excellent. Ambience and surrounds, excellent. Not cheap, but worth every dollar.
