Excellent food well presented. Long walk from our table to exit restaurant and literally no member of staff acknowledged us and said good bye as we passed them. Basic stuff really.

Every single dish we had here was phenomenal! Hands down the best food we had in Tassie and a great end to our trip

Really such an amazing place to have had my 25th birthday dinner celebration. Atmosphere was warm and welcoming yet very calm and relaxed.

We started off the night with some sour dough and butter. The sour dough was extremely crunchy and was great with the butter.

We then went onto ordering half a dozen of Sparkling and Mustard dressing, chives and lemon, beef tartare, scotch fillet & the pork cutlet for the main with paris mash, truffle and brussel sprouts.

Oysters are always great to have, very refreshing and I liked that they placed the dressing on the side so you can decide whether you'd like it with or without the dressing. We also ordered the beef tartare which I absolutely loved. Tasted creamy and paired well with the crackers they served it with.

My steak was perfectly cooked to medium as I ordered. Seared on the outside and red in the middle. Salted perfectly, soft and juicy. The pork cutlet was what amazed me the most. One word to describe it was simply DELICIOUS. Crispy outside, soft in the middle and very juicy.

Paris mash was just mashed potatoes but paired very well with the truffle. I did not try the brussels sprouts as I am not a fan of Brussels sprouts but my partner did seem to enjoy them. The cheese from the brussels sprouts were quite pungent even though I did not eat any.

We finished it up with a Creme Caramel. At this point, we were both too full to eat it but battled and finished most of it. It was still very delicious. Very creamy & sweet but not too sweet.

Overall, portion size were decent and filling, food were delicious and would definitely come back again.

A little bonus, we asked about the knives with initials at the front, it was said that every booking will go under your name and once you've been here for the 35th time, you'll get your own knife with your initials on it. Quite interesting and a seemingly fun way to keep the customers

Fantastic atmosphere and setting of the room. It felt like dining in a museum!
Great attention from the waiter telling us about the history of the paintings.

The food was divine. The most perfectly cooked steak I've probably ever had. The café de paris was really amazing to pair with the steak.

The beef tartare was beautiful and had really great flavours!

For dessert, I had the dark chocolate cremeux which came with liquorice ice cream and it was surprisingly delicious, i normally do not like liquorice so this was very pleasing.

Excellent service and great food. I would highly recommend this place. One of the best beef and dessert I have tasted in Australia. I will definitely be back.

One of the best Eye fillets that I ever had in Au, value for the money. Great service. Complementary delicious chocolates. Highly recommended. Will go back for sure if I visit Hobart again.

My wife and I visited Tasmania for our tenth wedding anniversary this last week, and we booked two restaurants within a couple of days of our anniversary. This was the second, and by far the best experience.
We were met at the front desk by friendly staff who confirmed it was our anniversary. They showed us to our table and the Sommelier (Shawn/Sean) brought us out a complimentary champagne to celebrate our special occasion, which was lovely.
The atmosphere was just right, dimly and tastefully lit with a romantic ambiance. No obtrusive music. James gave a brief history of the restaurant and the art associated with it.
The menu was simple but had a nice range of al a carte options. We elected to get the wagyu steak and it was amazing. We also got the market fish, but I felt that was not worth the price charged. As a meal however, it was an excellent experience.
The staff were warm, friendly and engaging and there was no hint of being in it for anything other than making the experience great for the customer.
Street parking on the wharf was readily available, and it's worth a visit to have a look at the art on display even if you are not dining.
Highly recommended! If we're ever back in Hobart, we'll be here again for sure!

Had Dinner here on a Monday night for my brother’s birthday and our first night in Hobart but the night went average. We were sat immediately however, it took us two tries to get menus from the waiters, despite the restaurant being almost empty this early in the night. The sommelier was insightful and recommended a good chardonnay. The food had its ups and downs, the calamari was amazing but from then on, there was nothing to rave about - my sister ordered the fish which was unfulfilling. Trough out the night we felt as if we were forgotten by the staff as entree plates took a while to be cleared and no check ins on how the food was going. We left still hungry and got desert at the one of the shops close-by.

Amazing steaks, sides, service, and atmosphere. Beautiful space with works from John Glover. Great recommendations for wine from our sommelier Shane. Thanks for a great time! Will be coming back

I can’t be sure, this restaurant had such a high rating and people talk about how great it is but I was not impressed.
Our food was tasty but simply not presented like a 5 star restaurant should.
Would I come back not sure I would try other restaurants in Hobart first.

Service and ambience is excellent. The steaks are excellent quality but not charred sufficiently unfortunately. 30 day aged sirloin on the bone needed much more char. Would have been brilliant.

The only bad thing about Landscape is having to leave. One of the finest dining experiences of my life (and I've lapped the globe twice). A true jewel in the Tasmanian and Australian dining arena for all three courses. If you're going to treat yourself once in your life, come here for dinner with someone special.

Landscape is amazing. The restaurant is more like a museum and you can look around the artworks while waiting for your food to be served. We ordered Steak and Pork and they are both fantastic. Highly recommended

Wondeful meal, great service. We had 4 different staff members serve us, however all knew exactly what we had ordered and never let the water or wine glass go dry. PA highlight of our trip to Tasmania

Made a dinner reservation to celebrate our wedding anniversary and was pleasantly surprised and elated when manager Cathy sprang a surprise on us with sparkling wine for a start. Leigh attended to us and provided such good advise and service which really made our night.
I must say that the wagyu beef was the best amongst all we have tried in Australia thus far, soft, almost melt in the mouth, flavorful and superbly cooked to our request. Really enjoyed the food, from entree to salad to the mains.
Made our 2nd dinner reservation before leaving Hobart as we really loved and enjoyed the food and were so glad we did that.
Food quality and standard are top notch. Special thanks to Leigh who prepared 2 portions of complimentary chocolate desserts, with the wordings "Thank You" which really warmed our hearts. Thank you Leigh, we love you.
To all who travelled to Hobart, do not give this restaurant a miss. It's a gem!

We went for our wedding anniversary. It was an amazing experience. Atmosphere and decor was stunning especially the Glover art prize winning paintings.
The waiters and foh staff were exceptional. Service was also top notch. And the food.

I had the calamari for starters and the Wagyu eye fillet for main. Yes, the beef is expensive but worth every last morsel. The best steak I've ever had! And the Paris Mash. I could have just dined on that alone.
Wine menu is great and the staff were very knowledgeable in helping our selection.
Do yourself a favour and book a table now.
