Lake Burbury campground is so serene and picturesque. There is great boat access to the lake and the fishing is superb.
The West Coast of Tasmania is truly a world like no other with so many wonders to explore across its rugged and untamed landscape.
The Linda Cafe is another great stop on the way through to Queenstown.

4 nights camping without any problems,
No fear of gear being stolen, mostly mainland tourists with some very nice set ups,
Came across a fellow Trout Fisherman (local) who gladly answered the questions asked, and even dropped by our camp with half a dozen of his home tied flys
Thanks "Collin" your a true gentleman

A lovely quiet camp spot. No powered sites. But it does have toilets.has discreet tucked away spots in the trees with camp fire spots

Don't forget the bug spray in summer

Campgrounds leave quite a bit to be desired but for $6 a night quite fair. There are potholes all over the dirt road in and there are very limited spots with flat ground to park. A lot of the ground is muddy and torn up. The toilets are somewhat clean but have no lights and are about a kilometre away from the campground which can be quite inconvenient. What makes up for this is the beauty of the lake and the good access the campground has to the shoreline. Lake Burbury is incredibly beautiful and I would recommend to at least stop by.

Good place for camping. There are a few spots in front of the Lake but you hace to be there early!

Only half an hour drive from Queenstown, with toilet & water facilities. Camping by the lake and under the stars surrounded by rocky mountains. Easily accessible by 2wd as well. My second camping spot in just month already.

The camp grounds them selfs leave a little to be desired, and need some work done, but even just to stop in at the boat ramp for a short walk or a photo is well worth it!

Why pay for camping when there is FREE camping / caravan parking at the end of Mt. Jukes road 10 minutes south from Queenstown. Water front camping on the southern end of Lake Burbury, very picturesque.

Just stunning place to stumble upon late one autumn afternoon. No wind, very few people and that view - heaven. Not 5 stars only because some people might want the facilities a little closer to the camping area:)

Camp ground is very nice, there's a lot of moss and it made it hard to find a dry spot for a tent, other than that pretty good

Stunning campsite (with basics) at the end of the world, just next to an amazing lake! Make sure you capture sunset and sunrise!
