Best seafood pizza I’ve ever had. Plenty of seafood - prawns and scallops - and a lovely puffy crust.

Our group of 6 all had a lovely dining experience. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone

Food and service was excellent. Servings very generous and staff were very young but organised and on the ball. Great experience.

I come here around every couple months or so. But whenever I come back the owner always welcomes us and he always remembers us but their food is amazing and I enjoy coming here, even during these difficult times of Covid-19.

My son and I shared a pizza here and enjoyed every mouthful. Delicious! Once our order was placed, we received it super quick. Hats off to the kitchen staff.

Not sure where all the good reviews have come from. Restaurant itself was disappointing and nothing special, service was very average. Ordered veggie mushroom arancini, got served the meat one which i took a bite of (thanks) so others ate it. Mains tasted ok but severely lacked vegetables, literally just pasta and sauce, I found one slither of mushroom in mine, and my friend found one tiny stem of broccoli in hers - we theorised maybe they fell in by accident? The prosciutto on my friends pizza was burnt to a crisp she had to return it. Disappointing, won't be returning.

We were visiting from New Zealand in March 2019. We happened to visit this restaurant on a Wednesday which is half price for pasta and pizza dishes. It was very nice Italian food. The portions were generous considering we had 3 courses. We loved the food so much we came back the next night and got a couple of takeaway pizzas for dinner. The staff were courteous and friendly. Thank you for the great food.

Great food (especially GF pizzas) and excellent customer service. Luke went over and above to amend an uber order issue so that we weren't put out. Would recommend.

The food was really good, no doubt about that. Sadly we were let down by the service. Full disclosure, it was Monday Night (6th Jan) we were there, and they were obviously a lot busier than they expected. But we basically got forgotten about, our plates piled up, and even when I asked our waitress for the kids icecream it didn't come after 30 minutes. What really annoyed me though was they were busy with cleaning other tables away, spraying them down etc, but ignored us.
At this stage I got up and spoke to the lady behind the bar about our dissatisfaction, and fully to her credit she was extremely apologetic, organised the kids icecream straight away, got the plates cleared quickly etc.
So, excellent food and by all accounts this place is usually impeccable in its service, but sadly we were let down when we visited.

Sorry, but just very average. From the decor to quality if ingredients, etc, I cannot recommend La Mensa.

Extensive menu and the staff were all very welcoming. Portion sizing on the meals is very generous, however the food itself was quite bland and flavorless.

The seafood risotto was so fresh and delicious. The calamari was melt in the mouth tender. My server was lovely as well.

Good choice on the menu, good for groups or just a family meal. Food is quite good for the price and service is pretty quick also.

Food was yummy, lovely spot in Salamanca Market. Friendly staff and quick service. The best part was 1/2 price on pizza and pasta on Wednesday! Great place for a cold night

Place was packed on Saturday night when we went. We were glad we made a booking.
The garlic bread was DELICIOUS and our pastas were delightful as well.
Service was extremely attentive and quick.

Decent Italian.

Food was good. Wine was good. We discovered by accident that Wednesday is half price night for pizza and pasta (other than seafood).

Staff were friendly and helpful (although had underestimated the popularity of the place on the particular night, and were a bit shorthanded from about 6: 30pm on the night we were there).

Certainly worth a try.
