My partner and I stayed at this amazing and beautiful bed and breakfast over the weekend. We were met with large smiles and instant welcomes, the room was lovely and had such gorgeous interior decorating, with a new overhead chandelier and heaters to make us toasty during the cold Tasmanian nights! The morning breakfast was freshly cooked each morning in a shared room with other guests we got to talk to other travellers and make kind new friends. We were served bacon and eggs and the eggs (Andre’s special) were DELICIOUS! With their food being local sourced produce and home made, it made a huge difference to our stay starting every morning fresh. We were supplied with great recommendations for local restaurants and activities to do during our holiday. This place is a must to book! If you’re anxious about first time travelling then this bed and breakfast is the best choice for you. We will be making this our first choice for future travels and look forward to seeing our new friends Linda and Andre again in the future!

I cannot recommend this place enough. Our room was spectacular and clean and the bed was super comfortable. And your home made yogurt is delicious. Thank you Andre and Linda for making our stay so enjoyable. Craig and Juanita

Andre and Linda are wonderful hosts. They even picked us up from the bus terminal when we arrived in Launceston. The room was comfortable, spacious and clean. It’s very well appointed—they have thought of everything. Highly recommended Arthur and Heather.

What a delight to stay at Kurrajong House! Gregarious owner Linda offered a warm welcome and a stay filled with laughter. Together with husband Andre, this boutique house is well-maintained and offers tastefully decorated, comfortably & well-appointed rooms. A delicious and hot breakfast, prepared by Andre, offers interaction with other guests (in a COVID-safe compliant manner) that adds to the experience. Highly recommend enjoying the hospitality of Linda & Andre at Kurrajong House.

Linda and Anders were better than great hosts. Worth the extra to stay at the self contained cottage if you are staying multiple days. Other rooms are well appointed with plenty of space. Hot breakfast exceptional. Highly recommended.

Absolutely loved it. The place is very cosy and the owners went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as they could. They know the city well and can give many tips on things to do, where to eat and even to plan your day around town. Breakfast was nice and gave us a chance to interact with other guests by having big tables to sit around. The rooms were really well made, very comfortable and clean. I can't recommend this place enough.

The place is clean, well kept and maintained with well appointed amenities. It has a contemporary interior with a traditional paraphernalia sprinklered around. Linda and Andre are great host, being hospitable, friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast is excellent particularly the home made whisky marmalade. Strongly recommended for the price range.

Stayed here for 2 nights and had the best B&B experience we have ever had. The accommodation is very clean, quite and homely. Hosts Linda & Andre are fantastic people and make you feel very welcome. I decided to drive the 1 hour from Devonport after travelling on the Spirit Of Tasmania and Linda was very accommodating with my delayed 9.30pm arrival. I can recommend the Rose Cottage which is a seperate self contained building and is a home away from home with cooking & washing facilities. The cooked breakfast that was provided is superb and Andre really knows how to prepare eggs.
The location is right in the middle of blue chip East Launceston and has plenty of parks & lovely homes to look at while you take a stroll around the streets. The centre of Launceston is a 3 minute drive or a 15 minute walk if you are feeling fit. There are plenty of restaurants in Launceston and we had dinner at Francois' Italian which was good. Linda provided a detailed map which featured plenty of tourist attractions for a relaxing drive North along the river. We visited a working beehive/honey farm, berry farm, Beaconsfield mine, a lighthouse & Launceston Gorge.
We would definitely stay here again and agreed that we could easily stay for multiple nights and use the location as a base to explore the region even further than we did.

We have stayed here lots of times before. Always clean, friendly faces with tips on where to go in Launceston. Cooked breakfast is included and shared with other guests, you won't go away hungry.
