Kurrajong House Boutique Bed & Breakfast reviews
47Very comfortable evening at the Kurrajong house. Linda was very informative concerning the room and the surrounds including dinner recommendations. Bed was very comfortable and the surrounds were quiet so we got a great nights sleep.
What a beautiful place. Linda and Andre are wonderful hosts. Warm and welcoming. The room is very comfortable, exceptionally clean, peaceful and cosy. We only had a short stay but would have stayed longer. Definitely recommend to stay here.
Linda and Andre are absolutely amazing! Their warm greeting, great banter and stunning house makes you never want to leave! They take the time to help you navigate around Tazzy and give you their best recommendations. 100% only coming here everytime I head down! Thank you again guys.
Thank you Linda and Andre - great hosts.
Friendly and welcoming, with plenty of helpful local knowledge.
Breakfast not sampled, however it did smell amazing!
The room (Campbell) was comfortable and well appointed, with luxurious bedding.
Extra points for the hot shower and strong water pressure.
Would highly recommend a stay at Kurrajong.
We stayed in the Rose garden room and was delighted in the beauty and comfort that was provided, the hosts Linda and Andre were awesome, breakfast is a must, would highly recommend to everyone
Great location, minutes' drive to the best scenic spot. Linda is friendly, and helpful. Clear and detailed briefing of the town and suggestions for fun experiences. One of the best experiences during journeys!
The woman didn't stop talking for an hour before we could finally relax. Also supplies alot of Coles home brand products. Instead of the outstanding Tasmanian produce. The room was nice
Kurrajong House offers lovely accommodation with everything you need for a short stay. Linda and Andre are the perfect hosts, providing a fantastic breakfast and good recommendations. Thanks for a great stay!
Linda and Andre are the quintessential hosts. Both are very friendly and a font of information, from where to get your clothes washed to which are the best roads to take. Andres breakfast is to die for, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes and those special eggs he makes are superb along with the homemade yoghurt, fresh fruit, jams, fruit juice, toast, tea or coffee. We stayed in the Campbell Garden room which was beautiful, lovely comfortable bed with the best pillows, spacious bathroom with a great heater light, also tea and coffee making station and a bar fridge. I would not stay anywhere else in Launceston and would definitely encourage anyone wanting to visit Launceston to stay here also. It's so nice that a host will come outside while you are there and sit with her coffee and have a chat.
Thank you so much Linda and Andre for a wonderful stay. Definitely a 5 star experience.
Our travel agent was pleased to hear our review and has noted it down to tell future travellers.:)
All the best Lynda and Dean Burton.
What a gorgeous place! Kurrajong house is a beautiful period home, with lovely decor throughout. The room was elegant, lovely and warm, the location peaceful with beautiful views. The breakfast was delicious and sets you up for the day. Linda and Andre are the perfect hosts; very welcoming, friendly, but also respecting your space. Though the winner for me has to have been meeting Lucy, Ruby, and Rusty?
Enjoyed 2 nights in this lovely Guest House in Launceston. My wife particularly liked the period style of the house and furnishings, including a 4 post bed. It also had good heating and was very comfortable. Our hosts Linda and Andre were very friendly and helpful, pointing out things to do and see and places to eat. Linda is very chatty and a font of information.
Clean & comfortable
Excellent breakfasts
Friendly helpful hosts
Attractive & well located property
We had a wonderful stay at Kurrajong House. Immaculately clean & quiet rooms, beautifully decorated heritage period rooms with great comfortable beds and all you would need. Attentive and friendly service from the owners Linda & Andre. Great location too, why stay at a chain hotel when you can stay at beautiful Kurrajong House with a big heart and yummy breakfasts too! We will be back next time, Peter and Henry
Linda & Andre were the perfect hosts. We stayed in Rose Cottage, which was very modern, lovely and clean with beautifully detailed decor. Breakfast was delicious. It kept us going until dinner. Thank you for a wonderful stay x
Excellent stay. We spent a night around Christmas time and we really felt the warmth from home and the comfort of a boutique hotel. Linda and Andre have been such great hosts.
Beautiful, clean, comfortable stay with extremely welcoming hosts. We passed on the breakfast upon booking but instantly regretted that decision as we walked through the dining room. Will definitely stay again when in Launceston.
A pleasant Launceston experience.
Rooms are spacious and the king beds are comfy as.
Linda and Andre are amazing hosts.
The position is very convenient to the city centre and there is a beautiful park near by to have a picnic if that's your thing.
I would recommend to stay more then a night.
We LOVED our stay at Kurrajong House! The accomodation was absolutely lovely. Everything we needed. And the owners were just amazing, couldn’t be more helpful or friendly. We extended our stay as we loved it there so much! Highly recommend this gorgeous BnB!
We had a lovely and memorable stay in this charming B&B, enjoying its comfortable room, handy location and friendly hosts. We will return.
A definite MUST for 1st timers to Launceston. Had the loveliest stay here with my Mum. From the moment we were greeted with hearty handshakes & warm smiles we knew we'd pick the right place. Linda, the hostess, chatted away with great knowledge of local events, eateries, places to sightsee. Andre, the host, was happy-go-lucky with local & handy tips to share. TIP: choose breakfast option as the eggs are perfectly cooked, breakfast is hearty & homemade yoghurts are divine. The heated rooms were clean & homey with crisp sheets & had an array of pillows to choose from. Have convenient off-street parking which was fabulous (and reason how I'd found this treasured place). Will make this place a go-to when we visit Launceston again.
