The place is amazing! The atmosphere, service and food are great! They have an automatic train to serve individual's table!

A bit disappointed by the options initially but when the food came, we were not disappointed by the quality! A little bit more on the expensive side, we thought. Probably paying for the maintenance of the sushi train that arrives.

Cool design but food lacking. Very limited choices when we attended for dinner. Even Sake was unavailable. Food lacked seasoning and flavour.

Delicious freshly prepared and cooked food. The soba noodle salad and sushi rolls were divine! Definitely will visit again.

Really good quality produce where you can taste the freshness of the fish and chicken. The chicken karaage was very good. Wish the selection of sushi had been more extensive such as having more roll offerings (e.g. California rolls) or eel dishes (the only eel option had cheese? Found that a bit weird) otherwise everything we ordered tasted amazing and it followed CoViD safe procedures extremely well.

Best Japanese in Hobart! The train is a quirky way to experience dining out, you order on the screen what you would like to eat and have the train bring it to you.

One of the best venues in Hobart. Amazing food, great drink selection, and I cannot fault the service. The staff are fantastic which reflects the vision of the operators. It's a regular go too for me. Check it out, but probably best to book as it is often at capacity for good reason.

Friendly staff, quality food and not as expensive as other Japanese restaurants in town.
Nice surprise to find kirin strong on the drinks menu, they are 9% so advise not have a few if your driving.

I think this is a bit overpriced. We ordered lamb cutlets but it was overcooked. It was burnt on the outside and can actually taste the burnt taste when we ate it. It was really disappointing. And the Fried chicken as well. It was really dark brown colour. But i can taste the burnt taste which is so disappointing. The other dishes was just fair. Did expect a better quality from this restaurant.

I love this place. They do excellent food with reasonable price. I like the idea how they serve your order with a train that come directly to your table. Staffs was friendly and helpful. If you like to go check out this place I would recommend you to try soft-sell Crab, wagyu meat, chicken and prawns rolls.

Great atmosphere, gorgeous decor, and the serving train is an awesome idea. Easy to find yourself over ordering just to see it! The food was good, fresh and well presented. Not the tastiest Japanese I've had but would definitely eat there again, and reasonable prices for the location.

Really yummy sushi. Fresh and tasty. However, not many different food to choose. The waygu beef roll is gorgeous. Eel is recommended.

Excellent quality food unique dining experience, cosy atmosphere and friendly staff.

My family are usually very picky esp when it comes to the expense of eating out in a restaurant. But they were so impressed they never thought of the cost or hesitated to order more food. Very enjoyable experience for all of us.

Everyone was talking about what they will be trying when they go back again as we left.

Note this place isn't that expensive, some items are but the quality easily makes up for it.

Great place. Self order, service by train. Both a great gimmick and an expedient and efficent way to serve patrons.
Little pricey but the quality was excellent.
