Kings Fine Art Gallery and Tearoom reviews
36This cafe/gallery is a must see! The atmosphere is peaceful and beautiful. You are surrounded by gorgeous artworks and local floral arrangements. The food and drinks are high quality and/or homemade and presented so thoughtfully. A variety of art pieces by local artists are available at very reasonable prices for the amount of work that’s gone into their creation! You will not be disappointed by a visit here and will soon return with your friends to give them the same wonderful experience you had.
Gem of a place! Very friendly, we had a great chat with the owners. Fresh scones were delicious as was the jam and fresh cream. Definitely worth a stop!
A beautiful and peaceful space in a bushland setting with high quality local art. Originals and various sizes of prints are available to purchase. Freshly baked scones with jam + cream are highly recommended!
We visited an hour before closing and loved our visit. What a lovely host and great knowledge about garden and art. Will stop back if we are that way again!
Wowsa what a treat. We were coming back to Swansea from Devils Elbow wine. The art is stunning. Bespoke evocative work and diverse. We bought a couple of prints but will be investigating some actual paintings from the gallery. Very friendly couple which made us feel like we were visiting friends rather than a gallery. We were full from lunch at Devil’s but got some cheesecake to go… had it late and it was just delicious home made and wonderful. Make sure you call in and have room for afternoon tea. Really glad we went actually and had topped off a wonderful last day in Tasmania.
A beautiful experience. Wonderful paintings and prints. Fabulous host supplying delicious tea and coffee well presented with complimentary tiny chocolate cakes with sauce.
Stunning art work and some craft items also. They have scones and tea and coffee available. It is all wheelchair accessible and there is a nice, clean toilet.
Lovely art but I always find these places expensive. Sorry, I'm probably just not cultured enough.
Freshly baked scones, hot coffee, local bird life and a chat with the artist. This was a great respite on a cold Tassie cycling tour morning.
Gluten free scones available, and freshly baked if you're willing to wait! We love this intimate cafe full of great work by local artists, surrounded by the native wildlife. The owners are just lovely and willing to chat if you're keen, but just as happy for you to sit in quiet and enjoy the scenery. Perfect for a relaxing getaway.
Just a special place to go, the art work is just beautiful and the cheese cake is divine. The couple who own this place are so friendly
Beautiful prints of Tassie. Met the wonderful owners and artist. They kindly shared tips of local spots with me and happily chatted to me. Bought 3 prints and can't wait to put them up. Great place!
An absolutely beautiful spot to stop into on our drive up the east coast. The artwork is amazing and the tea, coffee, scones and cheescake were delicious. Highly recommend a visit to the gallery and tea room!
What an amazing find. Fabulous bush setting and beautifully presented food and drinks. Artwork display very nice. Highly recommend calling in here.
Friendly owners. Great coffe and Devonshire tea in a bush setting visited by parrots, noisy miners and cookaburra's! Great art gallery too, very relaxing atmosphere, well worth a visit. Wheelchair friendly!
Beautiful paintings and gallery with a cute tea room.
Very talented artist, definitely worth checking out!
What a great place! We bought two beautiful prints and enjoyed the most delicious scones!
The owners Sherry and Laurie were lovely
We will definitely be back!
Gorgeous gallery and tearoom in a picturesque location. An absolute must if you are spending time in the area - especially if you love delicious food and beautiful art. The space is beautifully designed, the scones are just divine and the artwork is stunning!
Definitely worth checking out! The owner was super nice and welcoming. The homemade scones and cheesecake were superb. They were made fresh in the clean kitchen at the back of the tea room. The vanilla chai tea was also amazing. Such a nice and cosy place. Will definitely go back and try the Devonshire tea set.
Love the artwork, birds and seascapes, set in natural bush with great coffee and scones. Well worth a visit.
