Junction Motel New Norfolk Accommodation-Official Site reviews
46I have stayed a lot of places and this is the quirkiest place so far.very colourful.girls are lovely.tim very friendly and although not 5 star.its very clean.we loved it and will stay again
The Junction Hotel seamlessly blends Gothic allure with five-star hospitality. Its friendly staff, shrouded in an enigmatic atmosphere, create an otherworldly experience that leaves guests enchanted and longing to return.
Totally recommend. I'll definitely be back
Lots of interesting things to look at.
Bit of a smell in my room after heat pump was turned on.
I stayed at this hotel over Christmas 2015. I know it's a long time ago to be writing a review, but this would have to be the best place I stayed at. And reading the reviews tells me it hasn't changed. Friendly staff, neat well maintained rooms and amenities, great vibe, beautiful town, good location and great value for money. I hope to go back there soon.
This Quirky hotel is in a league of its own, with its very special and unique sense of style, we found it comfortable, Tim and staff were great, great location too.
The rooms are always neat, comfortable and clean. It's a really lovely place to stay and the owner and staff are amazing!
Great motel in a great location at a great price. Owner really helpful. Rooms clean and well appointed with all you would need: microwave, fridge, kettle for hot water for tea/coffee (supplied). Owner also supplied milk. A short walk or drive to the main street (500m) ; and a very good large supermarket if you need to stock up on supplies (Woolworths). New Norfolk is a nice country town that is just 30 minutes drive from Hobart and hundreds of dollars cheaper to stay at
The views, location, casual and friendly vibe of this place give it a perfect 10/10. The place has something to make you feel at perfect ease, to make you relish life & its bounty, leaving behind all the cares of the world (its coming from an overworked indian who is holiday deprived for 3 years).
The owner was kind enough to offer unlimited drinks and food and drinks on Christmas day, as every restaurant and bar is closed in Hobart. This generosity makes our stay a lot more memorable, and says a lot about them and what your stay will be here.
Unique colorful place with art pieces everywhere - super cool. We stayed there for Christmas and the owner Tim threw in a free home-made dinner/feast for all the guests.
The rooms were clean and beds - comfortable.
This would have to be one of the best motel stays we had during our trip. Great room great people really enjoyed staying.the effort gone into decorating etc is amazing.
Possibly the best motel I've ever stayed in, the space, the furnishings, so ridiculously comfortable. An absolute gem of a joint in the valley. I wanna come back 29 more times & stay in every room.
Quirky and cosy.
Warm and comfortable.
Tim was an excellent host.
So much to see.
This motel is a little gem.
Would definitely stay again.
Friendly hosts, interesting decor, well appointed room and bathroom, also comfy bed. Good value for money. Would recommend staying there.
It's been such a delight to stay some where that's full of creativity and fun, instead of a cookie cutter motel. We loved staying in the apartment, it had everything we needed and very comfortable. I was impressed at the hard work it must take to keep it so clean.
The best place ever, quirky but brilliant. Love it, every time we come down south this is our base. Food is heavenly. Tim is just a awesome person.
Simply the funkiest hotel I've ever stayed in. Friendly staff and the decor in the rooms is to die for. I love it! So much effort has been put into making your stay special. I'll be back.
It's like we steped back into the sixties if your in the area and looking for accommodation come and stay here we will be back
My Dad and Step Mum called and booked a room 2 weeks in advance but when they arrived there was no record of the booking. My parents were understandably confused and annoyed by this as they had a wedding to attend that afternoon and needed to get ready. The receptionist said that they had one room upstairs and when my step mum said that it would have to do (she has trouble with her knees and would not have booked a room upstairs) the receptionist said he didn't like her attitude and asked them to leave! Very unprofessional and rude!
Wonderful place. Super helpful. We had dinner there as well and it was delicious. Great place to stay
We had our wedding in new Norfolk a few days ago, guests had made bookings at the junction for accommodation, when they arrived the staff said there was no booking at all and refused them a room, 3 lots of our guests had to find accommodation elsewhere last minute, Tim was extremely rude to our guests, once they got to the bush in and given rooms the staff there said they had just had another 2 guests arriving after making bookings at the junction then arriving to have no booking made, very poor business.
