We were there today 26/2/22, and can I say I loved it. I drank the XPA and I thought it was really good. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was great, keep up the good work guys and girls, no hesitation in recommending this place.

Average beer. And they don't do a tasting paddle. So I ended up trying 3 beers and not lining any.

Firstly, what you want to hear, is that their beer is wonderful. I had both sours and can say the peaches and cream sour is one of the best I've had. I got it on our first day of our holiday and was back for another each evening. My partner enjoyed the extra pale ale in a similar way. It has a nice beer garden with some cover and food trucks which are mostly open most evenings. And then on the last day of our holiday they had a negroni available.

Quite a cool place, the fires out the back were great and the live music stage was a mint setup

Great local brewery and selection, but the biggest downfall is the fact they don't allow cash. I understand covid but still they could allow this

Good selection of beers on tap, cider and wine also available. The atmosphere great with a cosy fire to warm by.

Just say down with a glass of Jam on Toast Dark Larger. This is one smooth seasonal beer. Get it while you can

Dropped in here Late on a Saturday night on our last night in Hobart from Sydney, and it was great, the staff were awesome and thanks Lockie for looking after us, it definitely made our night and a perfect end to a week in Tasmania.
The Hazy Pale was so good I had to take a large litre can home to Sydney with me, also loved the funky old canning machine too.
My girlfriend loved the warm cider and the XPA was awesome.

We found that the venue was quiet and comfy feeling. We were there on a Sunday afternoon is nice a quiet atmosphere.

Nice, well set out & very relaxing to sit and enjoy freshly brewed beers. Pale ale is excellent, leaves a great taste. No cash all done by card

Cool place with a nice vibe and friendly staff. Love the beer garden and awesome brewing shed with old corrugated iron. Beers are pleasant without being amazing. Will return!

Excellent beer, excellent people. Hobart Brewing had an incredible selection of beer that were unique and creative compared to standard beer selections within the area. When it's good, it's good.

HBC's stand out feature is a particularly great outdoor space, perfect if you want to take your dog with you for a lazy afternoon drink.

A great place to enjoy a beer, especially in the warmer months. Friendly staff and a great range of delicious beers.

Artisan brewery in an old industrial shed. See them making the beer you are enjoying. Well worth a visit.

However if you genuinely like your beer then you’ll be better off at one of the many other bars and breweries. I’ve tried a lot of the beers here and still haven’t found one that I like. I know it’s subjective but Last Rites, Shambles, Moo Brew etc are leagues above if beer is what you’re searching for.
