49Great Tasmanian fare. Could not fault the food and good service. A small menu but fresh and something for everone.
For us, service was very poor. Didn't show any interest in our dietary requests. Chef sent server to ask us to come up with a dish idea around rice!
Not a bad feed but really a big miss on the wine menu. Expected a lot more options at decent prices given how far from the vineyards you are.
Decorative, classic wooden loundge in a mountain, but the food is not as delicious as they priced
Overpriced for the service that was offered with excellent meals.
Food was fantastic, however paying upwards of $40 for a steak and not receiving silver service along with it is a let down. Not to mention the rushed service and atmosphere ruining noise from the wait staff setting up for the next service while we were still eating mains along with another table.
The dining room is lovely with a big open fire place and traditional log cabin finishings with some lovely prints on the walls. Nice and not over done.
When you market yourself as a high end restaurant where only service is provided to tables booked in advance and the prices of the dishes reflect that then the service and atmosphere also need to be reflective of that. I don't mind paying for quality, so long as that's what I get.
Lovely food, staff were a little obtrusive but generally ok. The open fireplaces are a very nice touch.
Fantastic staff service and thoughtfully chosen wines to pair with the meals. If you are expecting fine dining, this is not up to standard as the food lacks the polish and subtlety but is overall tasty. The price of the dishes is probably too extravagant for the quality, although we were happy to pay for the atmosphere and drinks. Staff are all very green and not so knowledgable on food and wine but attitude was top notch making for a really enjoyable evening.
Far to expensive for the quality of the meals.

Piano music just making you feel like sleeping.
Employee in charge of the fire dressed like a homeless person.
Wifi access refused.
Waitress arrogant.
No reason to attend this place.
