Hazelbrae reviews
39Obviously you came to this place for hazelnuts.they're the best of course. But their slices and coffee are great too. The vibes are nice and the walk around their area was a wondering viewing and learning experience as well.
Fantastic products! Very fast shipping, packaged well and lovely wrapping. Thank you for the Christmas present and candy cane, such a wonderful surprise!
Travelled a distance to have lunch after reading and looking at pics on Facebook etc and was super excited to visit. We got there entered and noticed one table and 3 chairs and then asked lovely young girl for lunch menu, she responded with we don’t do lunches and offered us a biscuit or muffin and choices of drinks was a coffee or a milk shake, maybe if they pinned a post on their social media stating that they don’t cook over the winter or the future.this place has great potential if certain things were improved on, as it is marked on the Tasting Trail of Tasmania for tourists.
Enjoyed a tour of this property. Had no idea how they harvest but now I do! Very interesting and the tastings were great with awesome coffee to boot. Great playground outside to occupy the kids too. Definitely worth a stop
Lovely spot on Hagley Rd. Don't miss stopping by this hazelnut working farm. You can learn all about how they're farmed & processed & pick up a few lovely treats in the shop. We enjoyed a special hot chocolate. There are also tours available but may need to be booked ahead. Also a fun playground to occupy the little ones.
Great place! Had a signature coffee there and freshly baked muffins hot out of the oven! Even bought a bottle of their hazelnut liqueur that was nice to drink! Well worth visiting a definite stop as we went back a second time as it’s gorgeous food and coffee as well as friendly service all round!
Friendly staff with great produce. We didn't eat at the Cafe but looked great. We left with a bag full of Hazelnut goodies and very happy children after they exhausted themselves in the playground!
Pleasantly surprised with this little cafe/shop. Awesome homemade food and coffee with anything you can think made with hazelnuts. Also very good service both friendly and accommodating.
Well worth the detour off the highway. A picturesque working hazelnut farm with a beautiful cafe and wide selection of hazelnut treats.
Amazing little place. Educational and very welcoming. Prices very good for market and good for all age groups. Shop is well priced and not a rip off like some other attractions who charge a entry price for nothing but lining their own pockets. This is a family run farm and quite enjoyable. Highly recommended. 5 Stars.
Stopped by here on the way from Cradle forest to Launceston and it was a great decision. The hazelnut cappuccino was heavenly and there were free tasters of rum & raisin fudge and roasted hazelnuts. Unfortunately the kitchen was closed so there wasn’t cooked food but there were some picnic bites such as cookies and bliss balls that were really yummy. Bought lots of hazelnuts, choco coated hazelnuts and fudge as souvenirs.
Bit of an older review, but wanted to leave our appreciation for this great cafe. Awesome food, delicious hazlenut expresso martinis and a great place for the kids to play in the giant hazlenut. If you can time it, it's also a great experience picking nuts as part of your day.
Great little place in a lovely setting. Friendly, hospitable staff meaning good service! Delicious food and drinks. Definitely recommend.
Really nice coffee with a hazlenut twist, great location for a spring/summer picnic. Best views of the mountains, over the trees.
Amazing food at the restaurant!
But note it’s only a restaurant and nuts for sale - not a farm for picking hazelnuts!
A great place to visit and learn all about hazelnuts. With a great menu and products to buy, featuring their own, farm grown nuts. The range of nut themed meals, drinks and desserts makes this a relaxed and welcoming spot to visit. Freshness and no carbon miles!
Mixed feelings about this place - we really went out of our way to get here the small meals were good the waiting staff very warm and friendly
My Risotto was so small but my wife’s salmon was lovely the coffees very nice - but I was under the impression that it was a place to learn about Hazel nuts but no! Just an over priced tourist trap sorry! Unless your driving right past the place don’t bother

What view over your orchard out of those dinky little windows in your tuck shop? I did ask the staff but unfortunately they didn’t know anything apart from telling me to look at the little video on the back wall, there was no one around, you were supposedly harvesting we did buy your over priced oil and roasted hazelnuts which I’m still sorry I did!
On the Tasting trail, a working farm with a pleasant cafe. We had coffee with hazelnut Bundt cake which was delicious. Friendly staff. The shop had a variety of products made with the farm’s produce.
It's on the food trail, and it's a real find. It is nestled on a thriving hazelnut farm and includes a nice dining porch. The meal is delicious. And it's all presented wonderfully
The hazelnut cappuccino is amazing. I had the tumeric chicken for lunch and bought some gifts which were all 10/10. A great place to come for lunch or a special dinner. Would love to come back and do a tour. Plenty of space for kids to have fun too. Super friendly staff
