Harrington's 102 reviews
33 Stay is ok, a bit of street noise.
Room is small, toilet is very small.
Very convenient to walk around to shops and food.
Need to prepare to climb stairs.
Celine is very friendly and helpful:)
Alright stay. Bed was comfortable and there was air conditioning. However, the bathroom was not very cleaned when we arrived and our room was next to a very busy road. But it is quite central so that is positive. You can walk everywhere from there. So has its plusses and maybe for the money the best you can get!
The rooms are ok in size, while the bathroom is too small.
The cleaning of the place is on my opinion to sufficient. We had to report it as soon as we entered in the room and after that they took care of it.
The rooms are a bit noisy since they are on the road and the wall are very thin so you will hear everything that happens in the room next to yours.
The service is ok, not very friendly but also kot rude at all.
Absolutely incredible service and the Kobe restaurant downstairs was fantastic food. Room could have been a bit cleaner
Clean rooms at a decent price. A bit small though. The staff is really friendly. If you need 4 walls and a clean room then this will be good.
Nice room and people. A bit hard to find as Harrington st is one way. Go from post office end. Close by parking is by metered during daytime
Stayed there for one week.
Sad to conclude: No good.
No daily replenishment of toiletries; towels; etc.
Room not cleaned.
Bed not made.
Poor sound insulation (one can literally listen in to the next-door occupants' conversation).
Cheap but no good.
Second time we have stayed the owner is very helpful and the hotel is great for the money also in a great location
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Harrington's 102, and we can only say positive things about our room and the staff. Our room had an extremely comfortable bed, a nice tv and a.c, and the room itself was clean and well maintained. The staff was great, and the owner went above and beyond by allowing me to use his phone to find a missing passport, receiving a call that the passport had been found, and then drawing us a map so we would know exactly where to pick it up. Thank you again for the great experience on our first night in Tasmania!
Basic accommodation and close to the dock area but there is a nearby pub that plays dance music till the early morning
Good location, fairly cheap, comfortable for a short stay in the city. Friendly and helpful proprietors.
Had a great time here and Derek the manager was always accommodating and helpful. Also an amazing Japanese Ramen restaurant attached.
Good for the price although a little more attention to cleaning is needed. A remodel is in order.
