Grinners Dive Bar reviews
40Terrific tacos, great service, lovely people. Everything you could want in a place to get a drink and a bite to eat, and then some
Always decent local and craft beer on tap. Very chill, great place to unwind in private spaces.
Mann the food and service is 10/10.
Must try.
- jalapeno poppers they literally explode flavour and heat in your mouth at the same time.
- the fries are delicious I get them with oozy cheese, and pork.
- and the tacos are the highlight, just full of flavour.
Had the adobo pork, halloumi, and chicken.
All were tasty AF
Also the jalapeno popper taco was delicious too.
Will be back, for sure
Drink service is heroically slow. Food is beyond disappointing.does not even vaguely resemble Mexican cuisine, no flavour, no spice, cold wet fries is the best you can hope for
Really great venue, food is amazing and drinks were good price and hit the spot. Staff were friendly and made you feel at home. Highly recommend checking this spot out.
Cool vibe and great staff. The food is generous and delicious. Some of the best Mexican food I've eaten.
Excellent place for late night rendezvous. Cool staff, great atmosphere. Upstairs downstairs, booths, old school. Love it!
Might be a little biased but work down the road at the bike shop and have had a drink here after some rides in the past and had been great value, welcoming staff and a great atmosphere! Would highly recommend it!
If you like Beer, Tacos and 80’s Rock - this is for you!
Absolutely delicious tacos and there’s plenty of tasty beer on tap. Couldn’t find a better place for a quick lunch and chill out on a Saturday afternoon. Staff are friendly and welcoming.
Highly recommended!
I've been here multiple times and it doesn't dissapoint. The boys have the best staff, affordable and delicious tacos and of course great booze.
Wonderful to see hand made tortillas and the jalapeno poppers were also excellent! Other items we ordered were less exciting, but great staff and fantastic service.
Good food good people good ambience. You should go there and try by yourself. It's an unique place
Great tacos, fresh guacamole and nachos! Pulled pork has delicious roasted pork taste. Nice beers too! Friendly service, cool vibe - love the skateboard decor
Great people, great food, served late, no fuss. Giod on tap beer selection and cocktails. Good value prices.
Excellent tacos and jalapeño poppers. Also good cocktails (Moscow Mule). Probably one of the best fish tacos I’ve ever had, and includes the tacos I’ve eaten through Mexico! Highly recommended if you’re a fan of Mexican food or just love good food. I just wished I lived locally.
Easily the best Tacos/Mexican in Hobart. Homemade corn tortillas and sauces along with a decent range of bottled hot sauces. Limited menu but everything they do is on point. Maybe a bit overpriced, but again; delicious. There's no competition in the state for these kinds of real-deal tacos, save for a food van or two, and those vans use store-bought tortillas which don't compare.
Mexican infuence menu, young people's hangout with good vibes for all ages
Value for money
Interesting toilet visit
Pool room upstairs
It was awesome! Great food, very fast service and fantastic atmosphere. 90s grunge and even RATM playing on the sound system! If you haven't been to Grinners, you need to go. Right now.
Grinners has a great relaxed feel to it. A good variety of food/drink and a pin ball machine to top it of.
A great place to stop in for a drink and/or feed
