GG Gateway to the Gordon reviews
29What a gem we will be back. Ground floor room for a family - door opened onto a grass lawn, great play structure, webber, fire pit, inhouse bunny rabbit, secret trail, laundry and amazing view. Room was spotless. Ohh, thx for the 'surprise' brekkie pack.
Wonderful accomodation. Great views across the bay to Strahan village. Warm and friendly staff. A delight thankyou.
I had such a wonderful stay with my dog. Room was beautiful, carefully cleaned, amazing view, and had so many lovely details such as the beautiful throw rug and putting the heater on in anticipation of my arrival. Lots of treats for me (wine and breakfast!) and my dog (toys and biscuits). Staff were thoughtful, with plenty of pet friendly suggestions. Can’t rave about this place enough.
Staff are wonderful, they even gave us a bonus breaky pack which was well equipped. Yes rooms are a little dated but very clean and comfortable with a great view. Would stay in the 2 bedroom cottage again next time we are in Strahan.
Stayed in the lovers loft for our honeymoon. Great views, luxurious spa bath and comfortable bed.
As we prepare to leave the Lovers' Loft at Gateway to the Gordon, it makes me reflect on what a truly amazing place this is.
We've watched the weather change from bright and clear to solemn and moody, all from the comfort of our warm, well appointed studio.
The generous space, with picture windows and a lovely balcony provide a perfect location to sit and watch the world go by, with the one you love.
Coming home from the scenic railway (highly recommended) we greatly appreciated the 2 person spa bath/soaking tub and the warm bed, looking out over the inlet.
We spent two nights at the GG Lovers'Loft and, this morning, we both agree we wished we had booked another day or two.
If you're looking to recharge, then this is an incredible place to do it. Highly recommended.
Excellent Tasmanian hospitality, clean, comfortable, amazing views. Temika goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is nothing short of memorable.
The management is new and I think the owners are very accommodating.
Spent the night here at Strahan.
If you're looking for a cheap accommodation, this is your go-to place! The room we stayed in is a studio room which has a bunk bed, a single bed and a queen bed.
It has a mini kitchen with cutlery, pots and pans, mini fridge, microwave, etc. We cooked our dinner and breakfast the next day. There's also a heater if it gets cold, a small TV, a beautiful view. The bathroom is ok, could be better tho.
Free parking, big area outside. Wi-fi is accessible only near the reception and inside the reception area. You can tell the owner that you want access so that she will leave the reception open.
I wish i took more photos of the room but I assure you that this place is good enough!
Overall, I love the place! Thank you for a great night!
Recently stayed a few days in one of the A frame cottages. It was very comfy & cosy & had everything you could need in a self contained cottage. The surrounding gardens & view of Strahan were fabulous. We had such great night's sleep as the beds were so comfortable (could do with some new pillows though). I wanted to take that mattress home with me! Suggest an information folder in the room would be helpful, even though you are only a phonecall away. We had a great time & would happily recommend!
