Sparkling clean, quiet, and close to the beach, I can see this little gem becoming a staple of East Coast road trips. 10/10, I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This place is a great little spot. I am normally fairly fussy when it comes to budget accommodation however, homelea is a great place to stay with parking close by and not far to walk into the hub of St Helens.

Nice comfortable room - easy access to Bay of Fires attraction and nearby eateries.the owner is friendly and so were the other guests we chatted with.a good stop-off point if travelling up the west coast of TAS

We stayed in 3b which was just perfect for an overnight stop. Clean, comfortable, quiet and close enough to St Helens town site. Check in by phone worked well for us. Overall highly recommended.

We stayed here several nights. You can park just next to the appartment. We had the first one with the view on the harbour. We even had a nice garden where we enjoyed the views. The shops were very close. The appartment was clean with lots of space. You can make you diner with full equiped kitchen. The only downside was that the road was 15 meters from the appartment. All to gether a great stay.

The motel suite was spacious with a well appointed kitchen. Best to cook your own food or bbq since restaurant options are limited. Wifi was poor and did not allow for streaming.

The room itself was fine - clean and comfortable - but the number of signs around the room warning us of extra charges we might incur were offputting and made us feel unwelcome. There were three in the kitchen about cleaning charges if we didn't wash up (including if we left "cooking odours"!) and a note left on the top bunk in the second bedroom warning that if the bed was used we would be charged extra. No issue with the policy behind this but a note when the booking was made and a single sign in the room as a reminder would have sufficed. Wifi also very slow.

Absolutely fabulous place. Clean, tidy and very well appointed. Five of us stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment plenty of room. Only a very short work into town.

We would certainly recommend Homelea if you need to stay in or around St Helen.

Stopped on a whim in the afternoon. Nice clean modern rooms. The owner was accommodating and helpful. Close to St Helen's town centre. Nice comefortable beds. Would definately stay here again.

Not a bad stop, stung us for having a third person even though we booked a 2x double bed with bunk unit.

We recently had a very pleasant overnight stay at Homelea in St. Helens. Everything was immaculate. The bed was comfortable, and very tastefully decorated. Across the road from the beach, and handy to town. We unfortunately left our esky of cheese in the fridge and a camera battery charging. We had since moved on to Coles Bay, but at Scott’s suggestion bus timetables were checked and he is tomorrow handing our items to the bus driver where we’ll collect in Bicheno. Nothing is too much trouble. Thank you again Scott `and we look forward to our next visit.

Room was modern, clean and value excellent. Booked via reception as it was cheaper than online bookings.

The place has a really convenient location if you are travelling in St Helens. The apartment that we stayed in was clean and spacious.
