Frogmore Creek Cellar Door & Restaurant

Another first class lunch at this wonderful restaurant. The food is amazing - as always. The views over the vineyard are beautiful and the service is fantastic. Back to the food. I have eaten here about ten times and it's my favourite place for a relaxing lunch. You can't help but take photos of the food! Special mention to the oysters and the ceviche. And the desserts! Funnily enough, we were talking to some people on a nearby table, and they had also eaten here many times and, like us, had taken photos. We ended up going back through the years of our photos of desserts! "Ooh, yes, I remember 'the cigar'! " and so on.
And excellent service from the waiter who, unbelievably, had only recently joined Frogmore. He was very helpful in accommodating my friend's dietary needs and indicating the dishes that suited her needs. Nothing was too much trouble and he was clearly enjoying his job!
Do yourselves a favour - book a lunch at the vineyard!

Splendid views over the valley, all the way out to a harbour. 5 star food and service, wines were tasty and overall a 4 star.

Beautiful venue with friendly staff. We were early so a wine tasting was offered which gave us the opportunity to try some wines ahead of ordering wine at our lunch. We had two entrees and two mains between us. I had the beetroot salad and a Scottsdale pork main. I’ve had these dishes previously. The beetroot in particular is very good. Of course, the Frogmore Creek wines are excellent, in my view the sparkling, the Riesling and the pinot gris in particular.

I wish we could have stopped longer here at Frogmore - it was quite spectacular of a location.

The wines we sampled were very nice and it was helpful to be able to choose from the list, as it was our last stop and would've been pretty damaging to try the whole selection before driving home. The iced Riesling was a special and sweet yet delicate dessert selection. I'd like to return and sample the food or further wines at a later date.

We came here via a delicious glass of iced Riesling that we'd had at Risby Cove in Strahan.

By chance we'd mentioned the delicious beverage to the people we were staying with.they knew we were going to Richmond the following day, and also knew that Frogmore is near Richmond.

Food is exceptional at Frogmore, but whole religions could be formed around the desserts.

I would have preferred to dress up had I known the calibre of food and service on offer, but no one seemed to mind that I'd pitched up to their fantastic restaurant in a Waifs tour T'shirt.

If you are looking for food that's truly special, don't hesitate.

Beautiful spot, lovely service. We have been long time lovers of frogmore and always enjoy our visits. The food was delicious, although lacking the finess that we had experienced in the past. Still yummy, but not as savour-every-crumb mind blowing as it used to be.

A fine dining establishment, with prices to match, but worth it. Picturesque setting. Ambient atmosphere. A good wine selection, of course.

Absolutely amazing restaurant! The menu is inventive and fun, and perfectly executed. Great atmosphere that's accentuated by the view of the vineyard. This is a must do when you visit Hobart.

Food and wines all fresh and delicious. If you like fine dining then this is the place to go.enjoy as we did.
