Far South Wilderness Lodge reviews
26Such a friendly place, with a great bar and fantastic views. You have to go! We camped but ate in the bar. The first night the power was out in the region from high winds, but they still managed to cook up burgers and fries! The second night was the famous seafood curry. The shower block is clean and well set up and the location is perfect. Not far from Hobart but feels like a different world.
Totally recommend River Run Lodge, our family had a lovely stay, we loved sitting by the fire with a few drinks and a good meal, kids made themselves at home riding the mountain bikes and playing with activities that were supplied. We will be back. Thankyou
From the moment we arrived we knew this was special! We got greeted by two friendly goats who popped up all weekend and made me smile! We camped, but could have stayed in the simple bunk cabins that provide clean comfy shelter. The two fabulous guys who run this place are currently working on extending their accommodation offerings. If they are anything like the bar this place will only increase in irresistible charm! As for our beautiful surroundings and delicious food! We cannot wait to return with more friends, thank you Guys
What an amazing location on the water and native bushland all together.
Unbelievable newly renovated " riverun tavern bar lounge
Called in after not booking any accommodation during the Easter period, we had all our tenting gear and asked if they had a spot available. They were happy to accommodate us so we pitched our camp.
Far South offer Cabins as well as a lodge and are happy to allow you to also pitch a tent or caravan, there are amenities aswell as a communal lounge, kitchen and dining.
Absolutely no dramas here and would definately recommend to anyone who needs somewhere to stay down south.
We spent our Easter camp there on the camping site just beside the water. There is a ferry for boat and fishing. We made huge bonfire and it's very quiet and clean. The facilities are luxury as a camping site. Nice staff and we will go there again.
