Loved River Run Lodge. The decor is fabulous, there is a good selection of beverages and yummy burgers on the menu. Friendly service and a beautiful view both inside and out. A unique place to visit, highly recommend it.

We came to the tavern on 2 weekend evenings and it’s a great spot right on a scenic river and beautiful background. Service, food, cocktails and beer were great and the tavern is cozy and super comfortable. They had live music both weekend evenings and that was great as well. Next time we plan to stay at a cabin.

One of the most breathtaking locations, sure to impress and entertain. The staff were beyond amazing, the site lush and maintained, and the food was a perfect balance of curated classics. The whole experience was warm and inviting, and that is despite the cooler rainier weather which honestly just added to the ambiance more.

We spent a few nights in our van at River Run Lodge and couldn't fault the experience. The grounds and amenities were all well maintained. The staff were friendly, easy going and fun to be around! The entertainment and food were high calibre and were only outshone by the breathtaking views. One of the best weekend escapes I've been to and only a short distance from the city. If you haven't been there yet, it's definitely worth the trip.

Came away from River Run Lodge feeling completely recharged and full of amazing memories from our stay. The accommodation was perfect, the facilities clean and very well maintained and the addition of the Tavern which not only provided good food but entertainment in front of the water and fire pits was amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

In a word WOW! The location is superb and the makeover that has been done by the new owners is breathtaking. Their attention to detail in their bar/ restaurant area is perfect. Do yourself a favour and visit this magnificent business.

What an awesome place. Just what we needed. The setting is absolutely stunning and close to the World Heritage National Parks. The hospitality of the owners - Lachlan & Nathan - was the best I've experienced in a long time. They love what they do and they love making everyone's stay a memorable one. Lots for the kids to do and the Tavern provides a great place in the evenings to sit by a fire with a nice drink and great food and mingle with other guests and locals alike. A place not to miss on your trip down south.

Last weekend I had the best time at River Run Lodge with my friends! This is very tidy and lovely place equipped with everything you need. A good bed and nice bathroom, the lounge jetty I loved it. They are a great hosts and there when you need them. I definitely recommend this place, is perfect for groups.

As a family of 4 staying with a larger group of friends and families, we had the BEST stay! Amenities are fantastic, food is delicious, fires in the common area and bar make the spaces so welcoming, friendly staff and a stunning location! We can’t wait to come back and stay

Fantastic location we stayed on an unpowered site. Showers were very clean and hot. Caught a couple of flatheads off the jetty. Great hosts open fire in the tavern and pot pies were great would definitely stay again

Woah I have never stayed anywhere as epic as this joint. The scenery is tranquil beauty, the accom is clean, cosy, inviting and comfortable but it was the people that run the show that made the trip unbeatable. The most accommodating, welcoming hosts you could ever dream of. They'd bend over backwards to make your stay great. We all walked away from the weekend with that buzz where you are all hugging ya friends and saying "how good was that weekend, unbelievable! " and that feeling like you can't wait to do it all again. Felt like we struck gold. Would be the scene of the worlds best wedding too. My partner and I are considering a divorce just so we can get re-married again here. Jokes. But seriously a good place for a wedding or any celebration
