Elphin Motel and Serviced Apartments

Had an awesome stay at Elphin serviced apartments with my daughter. John and Anthea (managers) were so friendly and helpful. They went out of there way to help. Excellent accommodation in a central location. Supermarket only a few minutes walk. Fantastic to be able to prepare a meal at the accommodation. Will definately stay here again

Right where we want to stay in Launceston, close to everything!

Nice clean, tidy and comfortable rooms. Was nice and warm apon arrival. Water pressure was incredible!

Management service was absolutely amazing. We will always being choosing to stay here when we visit Launceston, Tas. You get what you pay for. Very accomodating for what we needed or ask for.
John & Anthea are both beautiful people. Would and will always highly recommend their accommodation and their services.
We ran out of hot water this morning and they offered us to use their shower. Such beautiful people.

Host was very friendly helpful and cheery. Gave a couple of bonuses to us just because he could! Rooms were very clean. All staff seemed to take that little bit of extra care. Bed was q big to firm for us but all other positives made up for it. Very enjoyable stay. We will be back

Our family of 5 stayed for 2 nights. Very comfortable and quite roomy apartments that really made our stay in Launceston a pleasure. Coles just over the road is great for families too!

The receptions John was wonderful. Happy to have a chat. Offered to help me carry my bags inside.
Left something behind called and held at the deck until I could come collect.
How highly recommended staying

We love this place! Previous Manager was a pleasant enough chap. New Managers John and Anthea, are just perfect for the job. Very friendly and helpful. Great location near Kmart complex. Also easy walking distance to places like Chemist Warehouse and Shiploads amongst others. Rooms are modern and spotlessly clean, with all the amenities you could want. Tariffs are realistic too.

Ideal family self contained accommodation in highly convenient location close to supermarket and shopping centre.
Clean and comfortable unit, light and airy with lovely outdoor seating area. Suitable for a longer term stay as a base for sightseeing etc.

Elphin Villas is a great spot to stay when in Launceston, the rooms are great and very tidy and affordable. The staff are really great too, I was greeted by John & Anthea who were absolutely brilliant. Elphin Villas is now my go to spot when in Launceston.

This is one of our two "family friendly and appropriately priced" accommodation places when we stay in Launceston. Clean, well equipped, warm and cosy. A perfect pick if you plan to be out doing family activities most of the day and just want an affordable place to rest at night!

The 3 bedroom apartment we stayed in (number 21) was beautiful and clean, very comfortable and spacious while being warm and cozy. The apartments are directly opposite a shopping centre with Kmart, Coles ect and if your travelling with kids it’s opposite the Launceston entertainment complex which is excellent. Staff were lovely and helpful however I didn’t speak to them a lot as I had just had my tonsils removed. I’m very happy with our stay and have told my friends and family to check it out next time they visit Launceston. 10/10

I called the manager for 1 night Accomondation, bc we will work near this place and it was a emergency.
The manager was so unfriendly and unwilling to help us in this kind of Situation.

Excellent accommodation for the price - close to shops and restaurants. A special thanks to the receptionist who recommended the Royal Oak pub for dinner. And a very pleasant stroll through the City Park.

On the up and up! Each time I stay it improves. Well done to current owners, it's really very good!

Wouldn’t stay at this place if it was the last accom left in Launceston, the manger / owner where the rudest and most obnoxious person I have ever uncounted. Arrived after a day of motorcycle riding from St. Helens to Launceston, hot and tired looking forward to having a cool shower and a rest only to be told our kind where not welcome even though we where told we would have a safe area to park the bikes. We then had to find alternative accommodation there and then to which Airbnb cam up trumps for 8 weary rider. Did waste your money on this pr$&k

The staff went above and beyond for our family to enjoy the stay the apartment number 19 was modern spacious 3 bedroom apartment it was cleaned daily couldn't fault a thing. Somethings are best keeped secret when finding a place this good in fear of not being able to rebook due to availability due to being this good but to be fare it was worth the comments and the rating of 5 stars doesn't quite do it justice. Thanks for the enjoyable stay and memories.

Two important factors in my review: friendly service and cleanliness. I give Elphin 5 stars on both. On arrival, my two children were given a chocolate bar each by management; a simple gesture that I very much appreciated. The apartment itself was spotless! I normally hate opening the bin cupboard to dispose of rubbish but even the bin was clean! Underneath the vanity is usually a missed spot by cleaners; not this place! The windowsills and blinds were spotless. I have an eye for cleanliness; no place I have ever stayed has ever really met my expectations, except for this place. Will definitely stay again:) Location was great too; very central to everything. Thankyou so much for making our stay a positive experience.

Stayed in March '18 was a nice place and very friendly staff, needs better signage on parking spaces (we had the room opposite the reseption so parking was slightly away) twice in out stay we had to park at the bottom of the hilly drive as random people had parked in our spot, wouldn't have been as annoying if we didn't have 3 disable people in the group (stated in booking)
