We love staying at East Coaster. It’s the perfect location on the east coast of Tassy. Wineglass bay is accessible. Stunning beaches like Spring Beach are very close by. Plus Maria island of course. We love that every time we come they have done something new to improve the place. We have been coming since Jan 2020.
Pic is the view from our villa.

The resort itself was nice, clean and cosy.
Dinner at the restaurant, the initial service was great. Entrees and dinner was beautiful. But then we were forgotten about. No one came back to ask if we wanted to order dessert. No one told us the kitchen was closing. Next minute the kitchen lights went out. I went to the counter to ask if we could order dessert, only to be told "No, the kitchen is closed". I asked why we weren't told the kitchen was closing or why no one came back to our table, they had no excuse, and gave no apology. Very poor.

About to go in the East Coaster for lunch at 12. On first appearance this place is very clean and right on the water with beautiful views. It has accommodation, some with kitchenettes and there is after hours checkin serving breakfast at the Terrace Thursday through to Sunday 730-10am. Tammy at reception was well presented and prepared for any question l might have. Lunch at the East Coaster from 12-2pm and dinner 5-8pm 7 days. Not sure about winter hours. These two eateries are within 100m of each other and wheel chair accessible. There is an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, squash court and plenty of parking for patrons and hotel guests.
Stay tuned for lunch review.

Greeted by Yenefer and seated at a window table. On inspection of the menu, first impressions that the appearance needed an overhaul (torn & creased) and not suited to the restaurant. Impressive list of wines and local beers to suit your meal, as there was a good assortment of food to choose from the menu, though only a couple of vegetarian options. I ordered fish n chips and my partner ordered the beef burger. Whilst waiting for our meals Yenefer was busy cleaning chairs in the restaurant, something that should have been done prior to opening. The burger rates highly and meals well priced. For my meal, unfortunately there seemed to be a mix up and l missed out eating. Overall experience very good apart from the restaurant.

Terrible for the price. Spa was not working due to a very bad chemical reaction which we were informed by reception after our jewellery was ruined and so was our skin red and sore. Manager later on denied it and lied. Broken basketball ring, 8 ball table damaged and not working, No Netflix as stated just an older television and a filthy mouldy sandwich was under our bed. Room was not properly cleaned. Couch was all stained. Cutlery was disgusting and not enough towels which is very unhygienic. Would not recommend staying there at all.

Misleading signage from highway down to restaurant. On arrival to reception told to go to wine bar for coffee which is closed in hours where signage advises is open.

Previously impressed with new dining options for GF pizza etc but brought friends around for a coffee today & were rudely told “no time for coffees”. There were max 12 other customers, plenty of staff. Will support other business’ in future. First cafe on the left as you enter Triabunna offer fabulous coffee and have a great little art hub attached. Highly recommended for lovely service there too

For the price this place was great, the room was clean, neat and tidy. Comfortable beds. We enjoyed the pool and spa area as an added bonus to this accommodation. This would be a great place for families with children to vacation to in the summertime. Our only downfall was having to do own dishes as we don’t believe this is the most hygienic measure and we would of liked more towels available in our room one for the bathroom, one for swimming and spa area. Thanks for having us.

A great location between Orford and Triabunna, sitting overlloking the bay towards Triabunna. The current management are doing several renovations, just completing indoor pool on our last day of stay. There's a Games room/bbq area being built with an upstairs seating area in middle of lawns. And several more loft rooms to be finished.
The cabins on the foreshore though are 5star plus.

The best first, the bed was very comfortable and nice sheets.
The bathroom was dirty behind the door, bathroom door hinge needed oiling and made a terrible noise.
Battery on remote was nearly finished and did not always work.
The room was a big box it could be made more cozy with a better wardrobe and maybe a
mirror.
The bathroom needed more hanging space.
Screens on the door would be nice with some type of privacy curtains so fresh air could come in.
We paid $285 for a box, (Easter prices) certainly not worth it, it looked like a converted office.

Noisy construction site next door started up with Jack hammers at 7: 30. No curtains on bathroom gave them a nice view as well. So much bitumen around felt like we were camped in a carpark. Daylight curtains facing wateview would be nice too. Open curtains and everyone gets a look in. Very ordinary for $250 for one night

Room was dirty, and was NOT sanitised. The shower was wet from the previous guests. When confronted to the reception, the best she could offer to rectify the problem was to stay in the dirty room and hope that the manager would agree at a partial refund refund had that occurred, it would then take upto 14 days. So basically, we had no other choice but to stay. Absolutely appalling. The indoor pool is also cold. Will not be coming back here again. Very disappointing
