What an interactive, informative and chilled place, I’ll be back. You’ll be so up close to all the animals & get to feed the kangaroos, wallabies & geese etc. The park rangers are really friendly & excited to tell all. Learn too at feeding time (Tassie devils) at patting time (wombat) and wondering around reading the info boards.

Quite expensive for a family with two toddlers. Feeding the kangaroos and the wombat talk was a highlight. Still didn't feel like the value for money was there compared to other attractions of a similar nature around the state.

Second time I've been, it's the most amazing place. Great for kids, I always recommend taking a full morning if not a full day.

The tour guide, wildlife carer is so knowledgable, very informative. The tasmanian devil's are a treat to behold. I must do tour whilst in Tasmania.

Before entering the zoo we have very look expectation. Having been to many famous zoo in Australia, I did not expect this zoo were so well run and intersting.
The zoo was 10 times bigger than I have pictured. Zoo keeper were super friendly and you can tell they just love animals.
If you interested in Tasmania Devils this is a must go place, the feeding session was very interactive and educational. I wanted to give a big thumb up to all Zoo keeper working at this place. You guys did a great job, super professional.

Best sanctuary we've been to! Amazing to see tassie devils, quolls, bandicoots and echidnas (and so much more). Really love that they rehabilitate and release animals, the area was large as well so the animals seem really happy. Great to visit and support a sanctuary doing such important work

Olive the wombat is cute. The Kangaroos were friendly. Rory was definitely loved by the possum, gliders and quols. Dennis the menace the tassie devil was also entertaining, as was his keeper. All the animals were obviously loved.

Great sanctuary to feed some Kangaroos and see some Australian wild life. The highlight was the Tasmanian Devil feeding, shout out to the keeper Chris I could tell he was very passionate about the Devils and gave a great insight to their history and life today very entertaining keep up the good work.

Whoo Wee! Who wouldn't visit this place? We had a lovely evening taking the devils in the dark tour down there. We learned so much from our guide, had lots of good food and drinks and the vest part, getting to see the Devils up close and personal. Now this is what I call a nature heaven right here, go ahead, have a looksie yourself

Got very close look at all these different kinds of lovely animals. Was so happy to see them being well taken care of in the sanctuary, and also walking around freely and healthily

Not a lot of water in the park which is a shame as most of the exhibits were birds. For the entrance price $75 for 2 seniors and 1 Adult it is on the more expensive side for what you get. Displays in need of a freshen up. The coal mine area is over grown

Excellent wildlife sanctuary. Highly recommend. Tassie devils, wombats, kangaroos, birds, quoins, etc.
The flora walk had lots of birds including a beautiful firetail and scarlet robins. The coal mine had lots of historic info. Staff great. There's a cafe and gift shop. Highly recommend

It is a sanctuary for animals needing help or care. We saw quolls, possum, wallabies, kangaroos, wombat, ostrich, Tasmanian Devil, and a variety of birds.

If the pink gala is still there watch out for your ears!
