69 Really good experience.
Lots of animals to get very close to if you have the patience.
Super friendly staff as well
Really great place to visit with kids, make sure you allow several hours to see all the animals, and of course, time for the kids to hand feed the amazingly friendly kangaroos and Wallabies! Really great, friendly staff too.
Great way to spend an afternoon, do your best to attend the free animal feedings as you'll get a more up close view and the keepers provide a wealth of information
My favourite wildlife park in Tasmania - we visit annually during January. Absolutely love the tours and feeding the kangaroos
Smaller selection of animals, but very worth it. Natural enclosures and very easy to see all animals including some 40 plus Tasmanian Devils. The staff are very passionate and knowledgeable. Great morning or afternoon out for the kids. We spent just under 3 hours here. Little Tip: worth walking to the emu enclosure, but we kept walking (a long way) to see a coal mine display. You could give that a miss. A great sanctuary and worth a visit!
Great place with little kids, some beautiful spots to have lunch in the free roaming area that are lovely and shaded. Cafe on site and friendly staff but highly recommend bringing a packed lunch and taking your time.
Great place to learn about some native animals. The kids loved it and feed as many kangaroos as you want!
This place was worth going and seeing the wonderful things they do to protect our widelife. The keeper was very informative and answered every question my boys asked.
Another of our highlights in Tasmania… the greatest surprise we could get while driving on the east coast from St Helens to Hobart.
This park is not a zoo. This place is a sanctuary for Tasmanian animals. The animals are not in small cages but rather large enclosed spaces where they can enjoy themselves and we can see how happily they live. The animal are active and curious about the visitors. The staff is above and beyond friendly and informative. They will even banter with you if you give them the chance!
Try to be there around midday as they feed the animals and will give you plenty of information about them during the process.
The park has large areas to walk and enjoy this contact with nature.
Worth spending there a few hours!
Totally recommended for the whole family!
Great people who work here.
The animals are very friendly.
Got to feed the kangaroos!
Just had a fantastic time will be coming here again!
What a great place to interact with the animals. The staff were all lovely and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place.
Awesome place, can feed the roaming animals and a very informative feeding session with the devils. Would highly recommend
Amazing zookeepers, they talked passionately about the tassie devils and importantly, ways to save them.
Kangaroos were a plus.
Found this place by chance, will worth the visit, the kids can interact with some of the animals, buy a small bag of food and feed the roos, we were there for feeding time for the tassie devils, the park guy gave a great talk on them
Great place and zoo keepers are really passionate about the animals. Great for the whole family.
A really lovely wildlife sanctuary with kangaroos and birds roaming around.the tassie devil talk was very informative and there was a baby wombat on show as well.nothing like a zoo, more like a sanctuary that helps release animals back into the wild.you can buy feed to feed the roaming kangaroos too!
Honestly the best place in Tasmania to see the beautiful animals live in the island. Also impressed by the knowledge of the staff. Highly recommend experience!
A beautiful nature sanctuary for rescued and endangered native animals. You can feed the free roaming kangaroos, and the guides feed Tasmanian devils at certain times and give very interesting and informative talks. This place is doing great work and is well worth a visit. Great for kids and adults alike.
Awesome tour today seeing Devils, wombats, quolls and many other animals and birds. Great for young and old. Friendly and informative staff.
