These were two great dives.thanks to Karen and her team. The equipment is great and surprisingly I didn't freeze at 18 degrees water temperature. My goal was to go kite diving on the Tasmanian lake and it worked! Of course it's a matter of luck. The second dive was also great with sharks, lobster and cave. Karen kindly picked me up from Port Arthur and showed a lot of patience in planning my trip. Thx again!

Unbelievable people and an Unforgettable trip. The dive team showed the most kindness and understanding I’ve ever experienced in an excursion or service I’ve paid for. Almost in harmony with their attitude, the wildlife was miraculous to be seeing in real life. Without the true bond I built with them, my trip to Tassie wouldn’t have been as amazing as it was.

Great local PADI centre in the little but beautiful Tasman Peninsula! Had the BEST time playing with the seals and looking at the kelp gardens, different corals and marine life! The gear is in great condition and they ensure you won’t be cold on the dive (lots of layers of thick wetsuit 7mm).
Karen was super helpful, picked me up from Hobart (extra fee) and had a great chat with her, thank you! I even bought some eggs from the site farm.
Would 100% come back!

Having been out of the water for 10 years or so, my Mum and I went to Eagle Hawk Dive Centre for a refresh course. Ben and the team took great care of us, helping to improve our skills in the pool, before going out for the 2 following boat dives which were so much more enjoyable and safe having refreshed our skills first. We also feel more confident diving at other sites now, thank you EDC.

This dive center was a real great unexpected discovery. As me I hope that you will see the famous Windy Seadragon and others colorful and beautiful fishes and aquatic plants through the spots well known by this center. On the other side, the team is very kind and passionated. Here you will find a humble center with a real soul and an experienced staff. For the french people, Pauline is kind french guide who can give to you some precious advices.

Did our refresher course with eagle hawk dive centre. We were really impressed with how helpful the staff were.

It was just the two of us and our instructor for the day as the centre prefers small groups for courses. In the morning to cover off what we learnt from the online theory and practice skills in the pool. The pool a was really helpful place to refresh.

After lunch we went out on the boat for two drives. The staff were exceptionally helpful. By the end of the day we had regained our confidence. The dive was amazing. Soup and chocolate between the dives.

We will happily go back again.

Had two dives from here today. The first we went to Cape Hauy checked out the dramatic cliffy seascape, scoping out climbs on the dolerite faces as we went. We found some seals in the water so kitted up and jumped in. At first the seals were a little shy but some chaotic swimming and somersaults got them enthused and they began playing with us for the whole dive of around 55 minutes. Next we cruised over to the caves encountering a loose bait ball with dolphins and seals on the way. Mick positioned us in the boat and we waiting for a chance to jump in and snorkel with the dolphins. We eased into the water spotting a large adult and a mum with a baby who buzzed us closely. It was truly incredible to see these animals up close underwater. We jumped back onto the boat and continued to the Cathedral caves. This was one of the best sites I’ve ever dived. You’ll just have to come there and see for yourself! Karen and Mick run a great and pleasantly casual operation which was awesome to experience. They were extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. 10/10,100% coming back again

Excellent day. Good wetsuits nice and warm, espically as we came from Darwin. The instructor and camera man were very reassuring for the new divers of the group and allowed for an intreating informative day for new and certified divers. Boat driver was lovely and very knowledgeable for local area. Between all of them we saw dolphins, seals, nudibranchs, rays, albortos, sharks, abalone and rock lobsters and an array of fish species. Warm soup on boat. Relaxed feel through the course at start of day with enough time to get comfortable and two relaxed dives. Overall perfect day out on and in the water. Highly recommend. Thanks to all the team. Great cat to cuddle at the end to ;)

I just had one of my best diving experiences at a very reasonable price, they even gave us hot soup during our surface interval. The Staff was very friendly! I'll definitely be back!

Five recently certified divers and I did a double boat dive with Mick on Sunday 11th July. It was an outstanding experience. Mick and Karen were patient, generous, knowledgeable and friendly. The boat dives were excellent. I could give lots of specific anecdotes and examples but it will suffice to say that we will be back diving with them, for sure!

Yet another great day diving with Eaglehawk Dive Centre. Supportive of a diver returning to cold water diving, flexible with options and brilliant local knowledge.

This place is as bad as it gets. The dive gear is completely worn out and should be binned. You’re better off diving in your sluggos. Even worse than the gear is the customer service. Not a nice experience at all. Don’t go near this place.

Me and a friend did the Discover Scuba Diving experience with the team at Eaglehawk Dive Center. It was a whole day experience. They have a pool on-site where they show beginners how to use the dive equipment and communicate underwater, before taking you off to the dive locations. I felt confident, my friend was a little nervous but the team were patient and supportive. Some really friendly, warm-hearted and down to earth folks. We went to one dive location just near the jetty because it was quite windy and the swell caused isn’t good for beginners. But we saw some amazing and beautiful things down there. It truly is a different world, and the sensation of being and breathing underwater is impossible to describe. The team took good care of us, the wetsuits and equipment all worked fine and when we got back to the center, after a delicious hot shower, we were treated to tea and cake (it was my friend’s birthday). The team are very knowledgeable — a lot of marine science, research and conservation is conducted from the Eaglehawk Dive Center. One of the instructors took pictures for us and sent them to our phones before we left. All in all, it was a personable and unique experience. They also have a friendly cat, curious alpacas and chickens with free-range eggs for sale. I do recommend if you ever find yourself in Tassie!
