My partner and I took a Signature tour hosted by Tim and we loved it.

Amazing to see not only the different venues, but also to get out of Hobart and see parts of Tasmania that might be otherwise missed.

Highlights were Tim our epic host, Spring Bay Distillery tour and Home Hill winery

Thanks

We did a full day wine, beer, cider, whiskey and gin tasting and it was phenomenal. Every venue we visited had delicious drinks on hand and knowledge to boot. Peter was an amazing guide, and his local knowledge really made the tour something special. Insider knowledge and the warmth that he and all the vendors showed in sharing their craft with us only enhanced the amazing array of drinks we got to sample. Definitely a must if you are in Tazzie.

I went on a gin tour with my sister and my dad yesterday in Drink Tasmania’s Tesla. It was a brilliant day. We stopped at Nonesuch and tasted Rex’s gins (and whisky!), at Hellfire and sampled Harry’s gins and liquors, had a beautiful lunch and wine tasting at Bangor, and then went down to McHenry’s for a tour of the property and distillery. Learning how the gin and whisky is produced - from the natural spring to the bottle - directly from Bill McHenry himself, was very special. Everyone involved was appropriately socially distancing and had hand sanitiser available. I definitely recommend this tour - get out and enjoy a beautiful drive in our amazing state and taste some of Tassie’s finest!

I had amazing experience on the Peninsula Gin and Whiskey tour. Pete, our guide for the day, was very relaxed but super knowledgeable and you can tell he loves Tasmania and it's produce. We covered a fair distance but at no stage did the drag on. I will definitely be doing another one of their tours in the future!

Best tour I've even been on. Our tour guide had so much local knowledge and a great personality. Will do the tour again when we return. Highly recommend.

Rod was an amazing tour guide with a wealth of knowledge. Wonderful experience of so many tasmanian drams and the people that contribute to making them. Small group and well organised as well as gaining in depth knowlege of the tassie whisky industry.

Did the signature tour with Brett and it was a lovely day. The wine tasting was sublime, lunch at Willie Smith's was delicious and I learned a lot about the involved process behind whiskey, cider and beer (which also tasted great). It's a very comprehensive tour for the novice and I feel like you get a lot more close and personal with the boutique organisations than you would with the larger producers. It's always good to have someone bring you in and give you a glimpse of something you may not otherwise see and Drink Tasmania has done that admirably.
