75 This is 100% the best experience I've ever had. I've always seen tassie Devils on tv and wanted to see closer up.
You could literally lean over and pat them (if you wanted to get bitten). That's how close you can get.
We did the 1 pm feeding tour on October 26 which was great and we highly recommend. The guide was terrific and provided so much understanding and information and was clearly highly committed to looking after these great animals.
We gained a new respect and appreciation for the different animals and the importance of protecting them
The Joey encounter is valued for money. The visitor could meet the baby Devil, Squoll and wombat. The guide is great and all animals are well treated.
Super knowledgeable guides who shared lots of interesting information and welcomed many questions. Plenty of devils to see and the adorable quolls are a bonus. Would highly recommend the after hours feeding session when they are very active (you get to experience their famous noise in all its glory!). Great value for money and contributes to a worthy cause trying to make sure the devils and quolls stick around for a long time.
Really great conservation work saving quolls and devils - take a tour and learn more rather than just thinking you know. It is worth it.
Definitely come here. The conservation efforts of the staff are to be commended, and they were all really friendly, knowledgeable and only too keen to answer question and were genuinely caring and appreciative of guests coming in and actually caring enough to stop-by.
Great to see the devils, as the chances of seeing in the wild are slim to none. They also have eastern and spotted tail quolls, both of which are worth seeing and learning about their plight in the wild.
If you love small cute things and wildlife come here. Day Keeper Rory took us on a very comprehensive tour and was clear and easy to understand and super friendly.
We also booked the Joey encounter, which again, was super cute and our guide was very personally invested, sharing how she hand raises the variety of joeys under her care, and keeping them with her 24/7 as she goes about her chores and errands.
Great experience, something you shouldn't miss if you visit Cradle Mountain.
We did the lunch feeding tour which was amazing the tour guide shared so much about the animals and issues impacting their habitats.
We came on a night feeding tour. It was excellent! Highly recommend! PRU, our tour guide was exceptional! She is clearly passionate about these animals and knows her stuff. We came away inspired and wanting things to change for the better!
We had a wonderful experience here! I'd highly recommend the Joey experience! Also come in to see a tour as well.
Amazing tour led by Prue! Don’t miss this tour, the information provided and the passion of the wild care workers is inspiring! The work they do is priceless!
A great up close experience of the devils and knolls who are well looked after in large enclosures.
Great facility! Incredible informative guide on the tour and very enthusiastic about the work and the animals. Highly recommend paying for the tour.
Did the sunset experience and it was worth the money! Our group was small and we learned a lot about the Tassie Devils and Quolls as we were given a tour of the facility. Had a chance to pat a very cute juvenile devil. The highlight was enjoying dessert while watching the devils eat their dinner.
First time I have seen so many Tasmanian Devils and they were so active. Running around, chasing and standing territorial ground. The tour guide was informative and would recommend it to anyone interested in these endangered mammals.
Well organised venue with polite helpful staff. Animals appear healthy and content. Good for all ages.
Very informative place! The devils and quolls are funky little dudes. Highly recommend the feeding session!
Staff were really friendly and the tour very informative and well delivered. A very down to earth wildlife sanctuary. I felt sure the money I spent there was going toward protecting the animals as possible.
Really worth a look, the staff are very passionate and knowledgeable. They are doing a great job.
I stayed in Tasmania for a week and had a great time seeing lots of what the state has to offer but this was easily my highlight. We did a night time feeding tour which started at 8: 30 and only cost $37, which felt like a bargain. The guide, Renee, was brilliant and full of knowledge and passion for the animals and her job which helped make it more enjoyable. The devils were so cool to see up close and the work they've done to preserve this species is excellent. I didn't know anything about quolls before going but they're now one of my favourite animals and I was lucky enough to spot one the next night in the wild. If you're spending some at Cradle Mountain then this is a must do.
We did the Sunset Experience. It was great seeing all the quolls, wombat and devils waking up.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about her work.
Would recommend 100%
Good place to see devils and quolls…very informative…but there are not many of them…tours and personal encounters are over priced
