Deep South Brewing Co. reviews
25Came in later on a Friday evening. Ordered pizzas and wings, both very nice in presentation and flavour. Highly recommend their wings and The Wizard mushroom pizza. Feeling like a sweet drink, try their Fruit tingle on tap.
Once again this place hits the spot. A great pizza of prosciutto and pear washed down with a great drink. Perfect on a Saturday afternoon lunch or an evening meal
On a hot summer night it is a great place to be
Fantastic venue! Staff were super friendly, beers on point, even the brewer didn’t bite my head off when being interrupted. And holy hell, finally a place you can see some stainless tanks!
The atmosphere is remarkable and larger than expected! Comfortable dim lighting, beautiful, friendly staff and live music. There were a limited number of menu items available, but each one was exceptional and complemented nicely by the talented pizza man himself and topped off with delicious beer! I look forward to my next visit!
I've definitely been further south than this but Im not writing this review to brag. I went to Bruny when I was younger and I'm pretty sure that was further south than this. But I must say the beer I'm having here is yummy and it's making me more chatty for this awkward date that I'm on.
Amazing pizzas! Fast and quick service. Cheap pizzas on a Tuesday also two for $24.wow just so good. Had the marg and Calabrese.
I tried the XPA and the Pale Ale. They were just ok, nothing to write home about.preferred T-Bone around the corner. The atmosphere here however is awesome. It's a warehouse vibe and they serve pizzas and other small dishes. We weren't able to try the food as we weren't able to get a table on a Thursday night. Need to book in advance!

Had an awful first experience recently with a staff member there and do not think I'd ever go back: (ordered a gluten free pizza (for a coeliac sufferer) but it came out as regular wheat. When we let the waitress know that we ordered GF she argued with us that she "didn't think" we had ordered it that way, and THEN told us that if we wanted a gluten free pizza that we could actually eat, we would have to pay again (and the wheat pizza was taken back to the kitchen). It was a choice of either paying again, or not having any food at all (and the rest of our table was already eating). Really sad to have had this experience as it wasn't just a "change of mind", but a serious dietary requirement. Haven't been able to get back in touch this week to speak to the owner at a good time, but really sad it happened and hope it doesn't happen to anyone else with dietary problems: (
Great night had at DSB, friendly staff and a great selection of beers on tap.
Pizzas were pretty amazing and the other side options very good also.
Nice cool decor and relaxed atmosphere as well.
Worth a visit for sure away from the North Hobart strip
We visited the Brewery in early September with some friends and had an awesome time
Great pizzas and most importantly awesome draught beer on tap it was magnificent
Pitty it’s not available over here on the mainland
Thank to Warwick and team for a great experience

Deliciously mouthwatering pizza and huuuuuge serving of yummy chippies with house made sauce. Heavenly. Big drool.
Look. Amazing! Galaxy hops in an xpa is a revelation! The IPA is smashable like a session, yet 7%, dangerously good! Wood fired pizzas are top notch. Modern and fantastic decor. Highly highly recommend!
Delicious beers, sours and wines and the best pizza you can find in Hobart. Knowledgeable staff. Super friendly and great place to take the kids.
The pizzas and chippies are hella good! These legends helped us out when Uber Eats failed us, and now we’re even more keen to go back for beers when we are out of iso Thanks guys ️

They had classic wood fire pizza that was delicious but the fried cauliflower blew our mind! The drinks were cold and delicious and the barman Ben was a great conversationalist and very handsome.
Probably one of the nicest brewpubs in Hobart. Really great food, top notch beers and just a nice place to hangout. Additional bonus is they're bike friendly, allowed me to store my bike out the back while I stayed
Pizzas are always amazing, and so are their bigger menu items. Great beers and friendly staff. Ticks all the boxes.
Brillant service, enjoyable beers and the wine I had hoped for the last 3 days (Clemens hill pinot nior). Had a starter (burnt leek and cheddar coquette) and woodfire pizza (Hawaiian with prosciutto instead of ham). Sat upstairs with chairs with backs, was a tad hot but had fans going. Would recommend.
