DC Cafe and Espresso Bar

We had a lovely meal at Daltons Cafe. Onion Rings with lemon wedges and parmesan Cheese for entree then meals of lightly battered scallops with home made Tartare Sauce and a very fresh salad with deth and Lamb Cutlets on a bed of mash with mushroomsauce. All was very well cooked and tasty. We shall return.

First and last visit. Very expensive coffee was dreadful and watery. $43 for 2 coffee 2 cake and 2 rounds sandwiches takeaway.think we paid for the containers which became a full bag of rubbish to dispose of.

A great restaurant with a comprehensive menu that caters for a wide customer range. Generous portions of well prepared and presented food. Serving staff are prompt, attentive and friendly - best of all - they listen! Its off-street location means that the restaurant is unaffected by noisy traffic in the street. We look forward to a return visit.

The food at this venue was absolutely profound, I would definitely recommend this cafe. Was 100% worth the price, with fabulous portions. The staff at Dalton's Cafe are very friendly and so welcoming to customers.

Popped in to have lunch with some friends and my 9 week old baby. From first encounter it was apparent we were an inconvenience. When asked if we were there just for coffee we responded we’d like to have lunch. When seated we were told very rudely that there was a table beside us reserved for lunch as the? Owner/manager pointed at our pram that we had set out of the way but was too close to the other table (currently vacant). Needless to say we left and will not be returning.

Haven't been here for a while, changed name and owners. Very impressed great food, good sized meals with fair prices. All day breakfast is always a winner too. Waitress friendly and helpful. Decor simple and modern. Licenced too. Parking outside, public toilets close by

Gentleman that served us made us feel like we had put him out asking for 2 takeaway coffees. Mine was ok but my wife's was undrinkable as the milk tasted like it had been reheated. Also very slow in making them. Lousy service and coffee

Consistently great coffee. We even buy the beans to use at home. The service is friendly which fits with the homely vibe. Great food and good prices.
