Curringa Farm reviews
30Stayed at boobook room.wonderful environment with lots of sheep.spotted an echidna on a stroll.room is nicely furnished for a totally relaxing stay in a scenic farm
A one night stopover that turned into a three night stay (Feb 2019).
A restful peaceful quite cottages situated far apart from each other.
I recommend you stay. But be forewarned as nearby dining options are few, and they close early.
Omg this is totally a hidden gem of all! Love it and definitely coming again! Thank you to Tim and Jane, and the lady who baked super yummy scones and yummy secret lemonade, together with sandy and Bill the Shepard doggies, we've had the best time seeing farms, dry forest band sheep shearing! A must visit j in tassie!
We checked-in in the evening while owner Tim was having dinner with his family, yet he patiently explained everything to us and showed the way to our farm house, we feel very warmly welcomed.
We were amazed at how clean and beautiful the farm house is, both inside and out! We love the design, furnitures and linens used, it is of high standard considered at a farm house. The balcony and the view of the fields are fantastic. We cooked our dinner there with the pasta, bacon, olive oil, salt and pepper provided, eggs, cereal, milk, juices, homemade bread and jam (Very tasty!) are also complimentary. Having breakfast at a balcony with sheep and birds singing around is a peaceful and relaxing moment that a couple from the city would very much appreciate, its like a retreat and soul cleansing experience for us, just wish we could arrive earlier or spend a night more! One note is that we tried to take a bath in the bathtub but the water is yellowish, so we didnt use it, I guess its due to rusty pipes, but its fine, afterall its a farm, right?
The farm is huge with length 3km and 8 cottages around it. It is very spacious and there is a distance between cottages so we feel very private and quiet. There are a lot of sheeps around but they are also far from where you can interact with them. There is a 2-hour farm tour with $75 / head in the morning, sadly we had to give it a miss given the tight itinerary. The farm stay is highly recommend!
A must visit and stay farm in Tasmania. We arrived too late on the day and miss a lot of good time. Great experience of viewing the stars there. Highly recommended for city men/ladies.
Spot on! The rolling hills and the sheep's grazing around the Echidna Cottage. With the picturesque view straight out of the cottage, it's absolutely gorgeous.
The furniture and fittings were well equipped and breakfast was great. The jams and the eggs.
I would highly recommend Curringa Farm stay to anyone looking for animals, great scenery and accomodation.
Fantastic place. One of the must to go in my personal opinion for any Tasmania trip. Love the hosts. Love the place. Love the serenity of the farm and the tour as well
What a fantastic set up. Not very far from the city, but when you are there you can emerse your self in the lifestyle of a real working sheep property. Great accommodation with the sextagonal cabins, all you could want for a farm stay.
Probably the two most important items a great shower and comfortable bed. We had both.
A must on your list for a holiday.
Tim was really friendly and helpful! The tour of the farm was really informative and we got some great photos thanks to him. The stay at the cottage was really cosy for our family of four, and the bbq food provided was yummy! Highly recommended, and we'll definitely visit again someday.
It was very scenic, nice and had a friendly couple running the farm. Food was good, freshly prepared for the guests on site.
