Good pub to meet friends for a drink. They have a limited menu and the food was quite ordinary in the dining room. Not my choice to eat.

Worst pub meal in Tasmania May as well be a local take away shop everything fried or junk food.bad service as well, doesn’t seem to be enough staff, not worth trying save yourself the cash

The food wasn’t that over cooked I had scallops crumbed twice and a few chips my husband had steak and chips would feed a 10 year old. As for bar service two of us ask for Lemon lime and bitters. It was terrible tasted like bitter pear juice it was out of a bottle and I took mine back and finally got a decent drink, we also had desert well it was sticky date pudding with ice cream, where do I start it was 2 ins by 2 ins 14 in think with not a date in sight and ice cream was the size of a tiny tatter.

Fantastic for a function! Had my mother’s 60th birthday in the beer garden and couldn’t have been happier with the space & the friendly & professional staff! Amy was a fantastic help organizing the day & then Renee, Losena and Louisi were so helpful and friendly looking after our group. Highly recommend this venue and this awesome team. Thank you for making this day so lovely!

The staff went out if their way to help us enjoy our evening. From a custom made cocktail for mum, a special menu for the vego, and a doggy bag for the left overs. Hang on, there were no leftovers, the food was sooo good. Definitely making this our "Go to" place!

Nice clean relaxed dining. Great for families or couples. Menu is varied and food is delicious.

Food was reasonable, had the crumbed scallops which had been over cooked and shrivelled up. The service was also reasonable given there were only a dozen people there.

Hadn't been to Cooleys for years but last time I had a pork chop and it was outstanding I even complemented the chef. Unfortunately what we ordered this time may have not been the pick of the menu as the salmon was dried and chewy, I had the beef bourguignon which had little meat in it and wasn't great! But the pork ribs we really liked. Atmosphere was good and staff lovely.

Good but the air con needs major attention last week when it was hot they could not turn it of hot there tonight freezing as it when cold and would not turn off just replace it

Held a reunion here last night 30th March. Fantastic night! A BIG thank you to the team at Cooley's. Nothing was too much for you.
Every one enjoyed their meals and they all come out in a timely manner!
Wonderful atmosphere.
Can highly recommend Cooley's for group bookings, they also supplied a projector and screen for us to run a slide show.
Service was outstanding.

Good food, lovely area on the patio. Reasonably priced food. We ordered the steak rare (served med/well unfortunately), and the burger, both came with really good chips and the service was excellent.

Had their scotch fillet steak with a creamy seafood sauce. Steak was cooked perfectly, the seafood sauce was delicious and service both behind the bar and from the waitresses was exceptional.

Nice casual bar with reasonably priced light meals. There is a nicer restaurant area for more substantial meals with an outdoor area adjacent.

Mediterranean stuffed chicken: chicken overcooked, potatoes needed another 20 minutes baking and couldn't see the stuffing! Service however was good

Dinner here was unexpectedly good, lovely and quick service with kids meals coming out really quick! Everything was lovely.

Very different food options - beautiful presentation and taste! Great choice of menu options and drinks too. Ordered our meals and waited only 10 minutes before being served. Great presentation, excellent taste and ample portions.

This venue seems to have lost it's direction, it lacks atmosphere and the food was plentiful but not particularly enjoyable. We had lunch I can't speak about dinner

Went for Christmas party and the generous platters of meats, sauces and perfectly cooked vegetables were without fault. Compliments to the Chef.

Place was empty and they ask us whether we had a reservation. Staff say that they are not getting paid after a certain time and hurry you out.it's a simple recipe really just do ok food be nice to customers and people will keep coming back. Good venue with good outside area now the management just has to get right
