Brady's Tavern at Penny Royal

Way too loud.
Despite reserving a table, the restaurant didn’t seem to know what to do with us and we were lumped adjacent to a boozy function. The music was way loud for 7.30 and was intermittently interrupted with ads (think Toyota, village cinema etc). Can someone spot a premium account?
Pizzas were good. Parmas so so.

Ordered the kids pasta and both the loaded fries, and they are AMAZING. The two young waitress' were super nice, accomodating and very professional. Very nice surrounds and dining experience. Definately worth a visit!

You must get the chilli beef, cheese, sour cream loaded fries. We were astonished at how good it was and it was really filling, a perfect post-hike snack. The staff were really sweet as well and let us have two more servings of sour cream to have with the chips - it was just that good!

We tried the pasta bolognaise. Very very poor. On talking to the chef out the back they all said they cook the pasta a few days prior and keep in a bucket in the cool room. And also the bolognaise they cook a few days prior and only heat up in a fry pan once needed. Food like this is def not fresh. Had no taste at all. Was like I was eating at a homeless sooo kitchen

Every now and then, you get a suprise in life.
I was so thrilled to get my mind blown with the suprise gifted to me by Brady's.

The Lamb platter = delicious.
The creamy mushroom pasta = delicious.

When I added the fall apart Lamb, with the creamy mushroom pasta and a couple of the olives, that came with the platter salad, OMFG!
That was the best taste I've ever had in my mouth, ever! I am now left dreaming still of that flavour, so is my partner.
The waitress was perfect also.
I want to move to Launceston now, as Hobart just doesn't deliver such quality meals as this. Thank you Brady's staff, you're the best.

The only good things about this place is the customer service. We had pastas, pizzas and the $60 lamb platter and everything lacked taste and flavour. Everything tasted watered down, including the beer that's on tap.

For the price we paid, and the quality of food we received, this was extremely disappointing and seems like daylight robbery.

Really good pizza - not too heavy on toppings, all very high quality, great both standard and gluten free bases, and very friendly and accommodating staff.

Their pizza's are to die 4. When I'm here I do try & get 1 of their pizza's they're so yummy I had the chicken 1

Only a 4 out of 5.didn't feel for the price we got looked after enough. Food brought to the table.but we had to go in and out to collect our own plates and cutlery etc.
Booked a table for 8 thru their website.turned up and didn't know about it.
Ordered a Cabernet Merlot bottle of wine and got given Pinot Noir.they did change it over!
Food was nice though. Lamb share platter was yum, definitely would order again.
Bbq chicken pizza is worth buying again.supreme one has lots of Olives.
The cheese and crackers share platter.personally I think u need to add more biscuits.there were pastes and meats left over with nothing to eat them on.

Absolutely terrible. I along with a heap of others will never return.
You would think if you book something for a private event everything will be organised and staff actually know what is happening.
Never been so disappointed in a venue in my life.

Oh another note you ruined my girls only hens night cause you guys were so unorganised!

Bought 2 pizzas, both were very nice and had plenty of toppings and were a generous size. Friday night between 5 and 6 they have a 2 for 1 deal which makes them very affordable

The best pizza we have eaten travelling Australia. Service was excellent. Thank you for an awesome Sunday dinner xx

I thought the pizzas were delicious in the all you can eat selection. Seating was very small. I thought there would be a bit more pizzas though to choose from, there was only a couple out at a time and a wait in between. My husband didn't like the pizzas, he thought they didn't taste freshly made and maybe from a frozen packet. I disagree though.

I enjoyed the atmosphere. The bar choices were good. The "all you can eat pizza and salad" option was a bit expensive. But the pizzas were nice and the staff were very accommodating of our vegetarian request.

Happy hour drinks available and all you can eat pizza available on certain days.
Kids friendly, outdoor seating with kids play area.

Went here on the 8th Feb, 2019 for dinner. A lovely, bubbly and chatty young man and a German lady were working. They were both very polite. The guy had the best customer service i have seen in a long time. The food was amazing. Worth getting the $25 all you can eat (even if you don't eat much) as the man said you can try a variety of different pizzas rather than having just the one. 10/10 for customer service.

Lovely bar in the Penny Royal complex. Great outdoor seating area with a play area for the kids. Happy hour between 5 & 6 two pots of beer for the price of one

I think I was seriously over charged at this tavern I was charged 225.75! I think we had 4 pizzas a couple of chips and some drinks.

The beers are delicious in the perfect old time surrounds. If your don't try a wood fired pizza - for shame. Without a doubt the best pizza in Launceston even though the setting doesn't seem like likely.
Sometimes booked for private functions so maybe check ahead.

Amazing staff! Increadably friendly, could have stayed & chatted for longer. Beers were really good, the milk Stout & honey porter were my favorite. Interesting spot in the middle.of an adventure park.
