Blacksmith Gallery Cafe reviews
50Rustic cafe! Strong human touch. There are various tea sets in the store. Trinkets. Key rings. Game. Unique style is exactly the style of this cafe. I ordered Scone! Delicious cream and jam is very satisfying! I highly recommend. But it's a bit of a shame that I like to add raw sugar to my coffee to add a different flavor. But they only have white sugar.
Unlike a restaurant more feel like a home. Latte is good if you prefer hot and strong coffee.
Nice and unique place to have coffee with some sweet or savoury, the toilet with lots of gravity makes everything so different but clean
Stopped here for breakfast on the way to cradle mountain. It's a cafe cum gallery that sells art and some pretty cool mugs and teapots. The vegan big breakfast was one of the best we had so far. Double hash browns, double tomatoes, extra mushrooms were enough for us to get going while day even after the 6km trek at dove lake circuit.
Great food and great service. I didnt need a full lunch, the sunny side egg/avocado on toast/yoghurt and juice off the kids menu looked really appealing, it wasn't a problem, and it was so tasty!
My friend is a Volunteer Firefighter and was called away the instant their food arrived, the great staff immediately put my mates food into a takeaway container so they could eat on the fly. I will definitely eat here again next time I'm in Sheffield. Highly recommend
Absolutely lovely little cafe
Food was delicious and service was great.
Definitely will come back next time on the way to Cradle Mountain!
The food was great we had a couple of burgers and coffee.coffee was really good.was peak time right on lunch and very busy.staff were friendly
Love this cafe. For a tiny spot in Sheffield you couldn't squeeze more Fun and Good food in if you tried! The pies and sausage rolls are (like everything) hand made there and are Delish! The homemade relish is Nearly as Good as Mine and the Fun of the place shines thru!
Just had the most delicious homemade pies we have ever eaten- followed by the most amazing fruitcake
Friendly staff, cosy and welcoming
The staff are friendly, the food is mainly cooked on the premises and is amazing. The coffee is best the town has to offer
It has a bit of a quirky atmosphere as the shelves are lined with teapots, cups and saucers, and out the back is handmade jewellery. Well worth a visit. In my opinion the best Cafe in Sheffield.
One of many cafes in town, but like some of the others has a varied selection of seating and all kinds of bric a back all over the place.
While the place not that busy there was a steady flow of visitors both locals and visitors. The staff were quick to serve everyone who arrived however it wasn't real easy to get an empty table. There were at least 3 to 4 tables in the area we eventually sat at that had quite a lot of dirty dishes and cups on.
We did not wait long for our food and coffee and in the whole time we were there only one extra one had been cleared.
The food and coffee we fine, the relish was home made and extremely tasty, so good we bought some to take home.
Stopped for breakfast on way to Launceston. As the website says “we are awesome”. Great friendly service, large servings, great coffee. Excellent value for money, & not just somewhere to eat. Has all different items to buy from earrings, scarves, umbrellas, books & teapots.
Owners are originally from Brisbane, so they also come with that friendly welcoming charm. All the best from fellow Brissy residents.
Surprise stop for lunch. Was pleasantly greeted by the quirky interior and smiling faces. The staff were all lovely and accommodating. The food and coffee was great!
What a lovely cafe in the gorgeous mural town of Sheffield. I was taken by all the unique antiques for sale inside the cafe, what a hidden gem. Definitely worth a visit.
Coffees come in small, medium, large, and Bruce. I'm sure there's a story there.
The food is A-1. I don't think you'd get better anywhere else. I love the homemade scones
Really lovely staff and atmosphere, great to see a place promoting acceptance of neurodivergence, different accessibilities, gender diversity etc etc. The vegan meals we had were delicious and staff made sure we were aware of what was/wasn't vegan when we ordered.
What an incredible find on our way out of Cradle Mountain. The staff was extremely kind and friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. The chicken and sweet chili pie was out of this world! We would stop here ten times over just to feel the small time atmosphere one more time. Must visit.
3 of us had breakfast today, 2 big breakfasts and one eggs Benedict. We all had coffee as well the coffee was nice and hot. But it would be nice if they came together surely someone can make 3 coffees at the same time. I had the eggs benedict, it was ok, it would have been better if it was hot. I nearly finished my breakfast brfore the another breakfast came out, then a few minutes longer the 3rd breakfast came out. Once again these breakfasts were only just warm, the tomato was hot, the hashbrown was so hard it was hard to bite, the eggs were hard not soft yolks, the bacon was neatly cold, and omg so chewy. Im sorry to have to write this but it was 70 odd dollars, service was good, friendly and polite, coffee was great, its a shame about the food. We just moved to sheffield and have been trying to support our local buisnesses. But i dont think we would order breakfast again.
Well priced everything was fresh and fast. Staff were very friendly
