Simply the best. We had a great time here and had a hard time leaving Coles Bay. Facilities here are excellent. Laundry was excellent given we had been off grid a fair bit as were the showers. Site we had was awesome, beach views from the top and then everything else is at your doorstep. Walks, runs, bike rides, fishing, exploring, food and coffee. This was a memorable stop to end 2023. Can’t wait to get back here. Staff were friendly and there is a good atmosphere to the park.

Spent a week here in December 2023 everything was fantastic perfect location to have adventures. Park managers Ian and Emma could not have done a better job!

We stayed here for 1 night in our camper van and wished we'd booked longer. Beautiful site with a bar, restaurant and cafe all 2mins walk away. Bathrooms were clean

It was a clean and convenient camping site.
It was nice that there was a supermarket and gas station bar right below the campsite. The beach is right next door, so you can enjoy the sunset over the sea.

Beds were comfy, we stayed in a cabin with two people.

Clean water, shower was warm.

Service was friendly and chatty with lots of info for walks in the national park and places to eat (what was open and not etc)

Great location, next door to hotel, coffee shop and convenience store for all tourists to the area. Amenities were very clean and tidy.

We loved our stay at Iluka on Freycinet. Ian was friendly & checked us in quickly, he even came to check we were all ok once we’d set up!
The toilets/amenities were clean and the views were amazing. This is a great caravan park to call home while you check out the sights, beaches and delicious fresh seafood.
My only feedback is the playground could be updated for the kids & basketball ring/makeshift court repaired & surfaced.
Thank you also to the maintenance staff member (gardener) who helped us jumpstart our flat battery on departure most appreciated!

Great caravan park right on Freycinet national park. Shout out to the owner who sorted out our accommodation on quick notice when I booked the dates wrong and arrived a day early.

Great caravan park, right on the water, shops out the front walking distance to everything and a 5 min drive into Freycinet national park.

Close to a beach, shops and tavern. The camp is clean and caters to a large range of campers. The park has good facilities. We stayed in the on-site cabins which are comfortable enough but pretty close together. However that's pretty normal living in a caravan park.

This park is in a great location however facilities are definitely dated and the overall maintenace felt a little substandard. Our site was next to a cabin and there was certainly no privacy for us or them. The grass behind the cabin was also not maintained and was growing up through the timber of the deck on the cabin. The site itself was appropriately sized for our needs but could imagine they'd be small with a bigger set up, ie. Large caravan. The playground was enjoyable for our 10yo although she said there wasn't as much as other parks we've stayed at. Amenities were clean enough however had a pretty bad smell and unfortunately were very poorly ventilated so after people had started using the showers at night they got very steamy and condensation made everything wet. I did like that the showers are not temperature or timer set. Unfortunately our stay was made less enjoyable by our neighbour's who were obnoxiously loud into the evening. To the point we could hear every word of their conversation with their guests at 10pm from our camper trailer. I do prefer a park with a noise curfew. Overall, probably wouldn't stay again as there were no stand outs for us but it did the job on this occasion for us.

Staff here were very nice. Grounds well kept and the location is good. Cabin was ok. Had a bit of a musky smell. We only stayed 1 night as planned. I would try something else next time.

Poor drainage in wet weather. Amenities block has separate hot and cold taps in an age where mixer taps exist. Scalding hot or freezing cold water to wash your hands in. Poorly thought out.

Location is fantastic and the room is huge. Got everything we want. We really enjoyed our stay and will visit again. Only downside is the WIFI is not good.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin, which was clean, warm and roomy. New appliances and new bathroom. Pleasant and quiet, had a great sleep.

Have to lose a star as we had to put up with the stench of curry, which the previous occupants left us. Not the owners fault and I don't know how they would fix this problem but to use a couple of cans of airfreshener. When we arrived the cabin had been locked up with windows closed which didn't help. After 3 days/nights of windows left open the stench gradually dissipated. However our stay was comfortable apart from curry smell. The beds were what would be expected for the price and the cabin was lovely and clean. The camp kitchen/BBQ area was very clean and the BBQs worked well. Thanks to the new owners for doing their best. Freycinet national park was wonderful

We've booked a 2 bedroom cabin for 4. It's pretty expensive (probably the most expensive I've had for my whole Tassie trip) considering the quality of it. The heater was very loud, we were really struggling to sleep all night. It mainly heats up the living area only as the heater couldn't get to the rooms. The stove and over weren't functioning at all. We were also only provided with minimal amount of shampoo and shower gel (only one of each for 4 of us). In saying that, staffs have been very lovely.

One word: LOCATION. This park is value for money and is situated perfectly on Coles Bay. Only a short stroll and you are walking on Coles Bay, and a short drive to the Wineglass Bay parking for the lookout.

We found the cabins to be large, clean and comfortable. The veranda outside was a nice touch too! If you are looking for budget accommodation that it right in the heart of Coles Bay, then this is the obvious choice. Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed staying here. We were upgraded to a studio cabin which was nice, clean and spacious. Staff were very friendly and helpful and it is a short distance to all the tourist sites

Loved this place in Coles Bay. It was a spacious unit and walking distance to the beach, and shopping centre. The rooms and bathroom was clean and the staff at check in were very friendly.
