Bears Went Over the Mountain reviews
34I think the Bear ran away over the mountain. Then when he came back to stressed out owner. Who obviously isn't a chef, had served it, 47 mins after ordering. It was warm and tasteless. 4 clients in the whole place. Do go there hungry. ACTUALLY JUST GO ELSEWHERE. The only diff is his it tall and solid. She is Sybills height. What a joke.
Food was nice, service was a tad slow considering that there were only 7 customers there at the time, room temperature was on the chilli side, reasonable price.
Horrible experience.very long wait for the food and cups and cutlery came out filthy.chef/waiter- that seemed to be the only person working there- didnt wear shoes when serving and probably not when cooking.would not reccomend
Terrible. Waited over 1+ hour for coffee and food. Only to receive - cold soup, small portions and eventually just to be told they’d run out of items. The chef was aloof and completely unprofessional. Asked for a partial refund in the end, as food was completely inedible and left. (Very kind & polite waitress though!) Very disappointing experience.
Terrible. Over an hour for our meal. 2 ladle fulls of seafood soup with nominal seafood. Far far too expensive.
We ordered the signature sandwiches, and scones. All great, freshly made. Taste very good in such a cold wather
Dropped in here a few weeks ago for a feed and we were warmly welcomed, Alex was the perfect host and delivered unbelievably tasty meals created with all local ingredients. He's also packing some potent ciders! This place is top shelf.
I went to visit Geeveston with my friend todd and we called into this Cafe and we were attended to by the friendly man who told us about the menu and on ordering he was friendly and as it was busy he came up to us and apologised for taking some some time but we were in no hurry but it was very courteous of him to tell us and the food I had was wonderful a toasted sourdough sandwich with was wondering in texture and toasted beautifully with beautiful colour and crunchiness and we enjoyed looking at the decor and we will be definitely returning on our next visit to my friend in the beautiful town of Geeveston
Had never been in before, went in the day after a big fall of snow and had their house made pumpkin soup. Reminded me of my mum's recipe! Couldn't recommend this place highly enough. Warm fire, hot home style food, and friendly service, we will be back!
Gorgeous little vintage cafe, friendly, funny and attentive staff, and great selection of foods. Great place to stop by for lunch!
Breakfast was great and they were friendly and made good coffee. Really well priced and nothing to much trouble. Looks like a family run business who value their customers and work hard.
Great pies, friendly service. Don’t get down to Geeveston enough, but, when I do I always stop here.
Cute little cafe with an interesting history. Really great food and lovely staff, well worth a visit!
Beautiful house-made food. Courteous service. Nice staff "giving it a go" in a small town
