Beachway Motel & Restaurant

Had a nice 4 night stay there, rooms were nice and clean, restaurant was nice friendly staff, seemed to have a set menu

The overall experience was excellent. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. We ordered the small size meals and we couldn't eat it all.

This Motel was lovely and clean. The staff were very obliging and friendly. Best of all the rooms came with beautiful thick fluffy Bath Sheets.
Would definitely stay here again

The room was dirty the bin had ladies toiletries in it, there was no shampoo or conditioner and no appropriate cutlery won't be staying there again

Had stayed here before in a queen room which was really nice. This time stayed in a double room with double bed and a single. Was ok. Room quite small and a little on the "tired" side. No plates or cutlery in room though there is a toaster. Can not fill up the kettle as it doesn't fit under the tap in the bathroom. Crazy. Had to keep filling up water bottles from the outside tap to fill it.
Manager at the desk was nice enough though.
Doubt we'd stay again though.

Restaurant serves beautiful meals and the menu has good choice, service is fantastic and friendly staff. The downside is when the dining area is at capacity, its very noisy and becomes hard to enjoy your night out.

Stopped through here late on a work trip, the staff were very happy to check us in last minute and also take a room service food order even outside of the Kitchen's operating hours. Props to the cooks for a delicious Parmi! The bathrooms were really impressive, modern renovations with nice tiles, great showerhead, and heated lighting. Perfect end to a 15 hour shift.

There was a heavy disinfectant smell in the room. We wanted to change it but all the rooms were booked and we’ve been told that all rooms smelled the same. After 4 hours of airing we were able to get in the room.

Great place. Clean and tidy. The staff are terrific and the food is really good. I will definitely be back. Animal friendly.

No we would definitely not stay here again i don't usually like to leave a negative review but I felt I needed to for this place we had never stayed here before and as it was about the only accomodation left close to Devonport we had no choice I wanted out the moment I entered the tiny room and it was very small I couldn't use the towels as they were grey looking thin things the sheets were very very thin and definitely not the crisp white sheets like most other places I had to sleep in my clothes as I didn't want my skin anywhere near the filthy bed the sheets were stained as well and it just looked like bed was pulled up with nothing looked like it was washed the shower rose thing kept falling down I definitely would not eat here im sorry about the review but people need to know it was also very noisy

Lockdown was announced and tasmania shut their borders to Victoria.
Having explained we can't come and stay and we need to cancel our booking the rude and unsympathetic manager promptly deducted our money as soon as the phone call ended.
Greedy and unaustralian way of conducting business.definitly don't recommend.

Where soo I start. Towels in our room were grey. I took a photo to compare the colour with a white face washer and white tooth paste tube because I couldn’t believe the colour. This place was the centre of Covid 19 in Tasmania. The remote for the TV was filthy. It had never been cleaned. The toilet needed to be cleaned with cleaner and needed a through clean.
The mattress was old, cheap lumpy and extremely uncomfortable. I couldn’t get a decent sleep and awoke every hour
When a member of our party reported that the electric blanket didn’t work the manager asked her if she had turned it on? This to a university educated engineer.
Our visit to the restaurant the previous evening was disappointing. The waitress was asked a number of questions with regard to the menu. She left us to go to the kitchen three times to ask the cook if the seafood was fresh and local. The steak I had was of very poor quality and under cooked, when I explained this to the waitress she asked me why I had eaten a third of it. The other reason being I was unable to eat it. When asked for the creme’ brûlée’s was absent available because it wasn’t set.

Under new management. Rooms are a little small and need upgrading and refreshing but are clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Restaurant has good choice of meals that are well cooked. Small bar on sight. Great pool and lovely gardens

Absolutely wonderful motel close to the beach and some good food. The owners are absolutely wonderful people and will make your stay comfortable. Would definitely come back

Location is good and rooms were clean, however there was a humming noise which occoured sporadically throughout the night which made it difficult to sleep

Friendly staff. Comfortable and clean.
A small clothesline near the swimming pool would make it that bit better.

Muslim owner very impolite and chauvanistic tried at every angle to overcharge sub standard rooms and cleaning fees.not recomended!

Lovely place for family stay over. Room is clean on arrival if you stay longer maybe not as much. Restaurant has HUGE portions. The girl that works there 7 days a week is a gem. Hope she can keep up the loooooooong hours and no days off.

That was a great place to stay. It's very clean, have a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. I would go back there again.

Went here for a quick stopover at the beginning of our road trip around tassie. The place is clean and taken care of very well.
