Centrally located in Burnie the Beachfront Voyager is undergoing some changes with a lift being installed and the carpark being resealed. A small inconvenience when increased access is being made available. Fortunate to book the balcony room overlooking the front area, Port traffic entertainment and sea air was pleasant while relaxing after travelling.
The restaurant is not open Sundays but cafes are open in town.
This is a great location to wander through Burnie from and leave the car parked.
A bar fridge with supplies is available with tea & coffee also. Air conditioning works well.
I look forward to staying again when the renovations are complete.

Great room with view to beach. Only complaint was lugging suitcases up to room but they are installing a lift. Nice people
2nd stay in 3 years.

As expected; wonderful staff, good food, clean and tidy. Limited parking spaces in a first come first serve basis however lots of street parking.

It"s really quite good. Rooms are good, staff are friendly and caring. The sea view makes it. 1 mi ute to the beach, straight across the road. Food is good. Bed is good.

We found the management of this place to be dishonest and deceptive. We booked sea view executive suites months ahead for a special occasion. After travelling 6 plus hours we arrived to find our rooms had been given to other customers. So booking a room in advance meant nothing and customer's staying for longer periods get preferred treatment and you don't get what you pay for. Didn't even bother to notify us that they had given away our booking.
Would never stay here again and definitely not recommend staying here, worst customer service treatment ever experienced.

Good rooms, but bathroom needs updating. Bath too deep to get in and out of as shower over bath.

Great location across the road from the waterfront and surf club. Easy stroll in to the city centre and some tourist attractions. Room is clean, new fittings and furnishings and a good size. Dinner in the restaurant was great, generous portions and well cooked with friendly and efficient staff.

On the bottom floor, had a group of young blokes upstairs, sounded like a heard of elephants all night, yelling, screaming and running up and down stairs. VERY Basic room+ for the cost. Close enough to the town and opposite the beach, not much going for the place apart from that.

Nice views of the beach from the ocean view room balconies, located on the same block as a few restaurants. Big rooms with air con/electric blankets. Housekeeping has been great. Enjoyed my stay
