Always forget about this place. Opposite the beach with done views. Parking out front. Wheelchair access too.
Great meals, chowder was full of seafood (entree size ($17), garlic prawns yummy, fillet steak ($42) was great. Desserts were good too ($10.50)
Nice menu variety. Popular kind of place too.

Inga was the duty manager during my stay and was a fabulous host. Neat, tidy and clean. The standard rooms all contain a queen size bed and a single. Very spacious with a comfortable 2 seater lounge and a breakfast table with 2 chairs. The on site restaurant doesn't serve Breakfast but meals are available 6days, except Sunday. Pre booking rooms in advance is essential if you would like a room with an ocean view. The voyger is very popular with business men.

Always get the best service here! This has become our regular hotel, as its always clean and tidy, the minifridge is always well stocked with quality products, and the staff are very accommodating, even with last-minute bookings. Big thank you to the team!

Lovely large rooms. Very clean. Well appointed. Comfortable beds. Bathrooms very much need updating as sadly the deep bath/shower combo was unsafe for anyone of short stature over 50!

Reception was helpful and lovely. Hotel followed all our requests for extra towels etc. Rooms are outdated but livable. Bathrooms are tacky. Taps in shower are very hard to turn I had to ask my husband to turn them on for me. The basins are so low that at 5ft 2 I had to bend over. Location good. Management needs to upgrade their rooms.

Great! Right on the beach. Pub across the road. Penguins down by the visitor information centre. Bicheno Park and water fall a must see. Loved helliers distillery but must book ahead. Beautiful place. 3.5 hours from Hobart also recommend the tasting trail with Christmas Hills raspberry farm and anvers? Chocolate, Latrobe go carts, best 2 night stay.

The spa rooms are abosultetly beautiful.
The receptionist said they would call me back an never bothered to.
As a place to stay it's lovely an affordable.
If you order a meal an need to cancel at all just be cautious because they will still try to charge you even if you have given them ample time notice, and if you don't pay for food you never got you will be banned.
They also have room service which is a bonus.

Very nice for a motel. Had a great ocean view from my room. Staff were lovely at both reception and restaurant. Walls were paper thin, could hear our neighbours quite clearly.

Don't think the price reflects what you get, unfortunately some of the dishes were dirty and every time you showered, the bathroom would flood and spill out to the room. View was great but mainly of the lifesaving head quarters across the road

Tamara at the front desk was excellent. A professional greeting boded well for an excellent stay. Room was exceptionally clean and well resourced with tea coffee etc. This came after a disastrous AirBnb experience in York St Launceston including mouldy carpet and dilapidated entrance to terrace house/building materials littering the yard and obscuring access & owners car parked in front of entrance doorway. We found very ordinary standards if regional accommodation at Steele’s Island & Queenstown. We were delighted to stay in accommodation that meets high standards of service and cleanliness for much the same price.

Nice, clean room with plenty of space. Reasonably priced with friendly staff. Close to everything you could need. I would definitely stay here again. I would only say be careful stepping out if the shower/bath as it's a bit of a step down.

Funky, jumbled, large, on trend cafe. Soft seating and hard. Large menu accommodating veg and other and usual diets. Good coffee. Sparky attendance but seems to need 1 extra staff. Too much for one person at front desk

Solid and clean rooms. The attached restaurant is a bit of a hidden little wonder that I really enjoyed.

Just how long did I visit as haven't had need of such things as yet once again your exact location needs a doctor on it
