Bay of Fires Bush Retreat reviews
55An absolute gem of a property. The kitchen space was phenomenal. A great selection of wines and meals, snacks and sweets available for purchase. Tents are clean and spacious and the beds are comfy as. Cannot recommend this place enough!
Beautifully landscaped. Quality cabins and amenities. Well designed communal kitchen and dining/socialising area. Delicious prepared frozen meals, easy to use. A real retreat, just minutes' drive from Binalong Bay.
Had an absolutely beautiful time. We were passing through Bay of Fires and stayed here for only one night (should have stayed longer!). The tents were very cosy and kept us warm. The food served was absolutely delicious, definitely restaurant quality. Facilities were clean and well stocked. If we ever return to Tasmania, will definitely be staying here again. Thank you all!
We stayed for a night here, It was a great experience! Clean and great service! Love the kitchen areas plus the fire! Such a vibe!
And I’ll come back here again!
We had an amazing stay, there is no word to describe how beautiful this place is. So Quite and relaxing. Would highly recommend staying here to anyone and will definitely be back. Staff so friendly and extremely welcoming.
We stayed and it was pouring rain. It was so lovely hearing to rain on the tent. We where so warm and dry with electricity blankets and heaters in the tent and no leaks. The bed was really comfortable. The amenities really clean. It was a shame we couldn't use the fire pits as the weather wasn't in our favour.
The most magical place to stay. Could have spent a week here! Truly a special diamond hidden in Tasmania. Highly recommended for anyone heading to Bay of Fires.
Look, it was a great stay the bed was really comfortable and so were the amenities. But this is something I wish someone told me before coming. The tents are fairly close to each other and none of them are sound proof. I was on a solo trip around Tassie to clear my mind and it was very hard to sleep with the tents being so close and every couple honeymooning going at it, at one point there was 3 tents going off.
Lovely spot, very peaceful. Found it very overpriced for what it is and felt that breakfast should be included for the price we paid. Otherwise it is very well thought out and the design is great.
We loved our stay at the Bay of Fires. As a first time glamper, this was such a beautiful experience. Alex greeted us when we arrived and took us on a tour of the place which was really helpful. Facilities was simple, clean and everything we needed. Tents were quaint and well equiped. I was worried we would be freezing but the mini heaters and electric blankets kept us warm and snug. Loved the fire pits and the honesty bar. Great vibe, great experience and would recommend. Breakfast was delicious too. Would have loved to have had the giant marshmallows:) thanks for a great stay.
Very friendly staff, welcoming, top notch facilities, great short works. Great place to unwind. Food and drink available, well stocked with premo products.
We were greeted by Anna, who gave us a tour of the sire and was very helpful. The facilities are amazing, the tents and spacious and comfortable. Despite poor weather, it was a fantastic night, looking forward to the next.
Amazing experience! Such a beautifully designed little retreat. I especially loved the free for all vege/herb garden.
I just loved the whole concept of the retreat. We stayed for 1 night on Sunday night. It was so tranquil. I really wished I had of booked 2 nights. Do yourself a favour if in Tassie and spent a couple of nights there. Also the breaky is amazing.
Overall it's a very memorable experience, with ample of wow factors. Definitely worth your money.
Alex and the other staff was very helpful - we left some of our belongings and with kind heart they helped ship it back to us to Melbourne.
The tent was very clean and comfortable with sufficient heaters to go through the cold nights.
Location was perfect for a retreat. It's 10 mins drive to St Helens if you need to purchase some groceries. Air is very clear from pollution, we went for stargazing whem we stayed there
My most favorite part is the bonfire where you can mingle with other people staying there. The pantry is also complete and has options of food and drinks to purchase (to be cooked) during the stay.
Awesome place! A must stay in your trip. We had one night booked but ended up staying two in the king bell tents. So nice to chill and relax. Warm and cosy with the most comfy beds ever! Hot clean showers and amenities. They have thought of everything, the modern communal kitchen with chef pre cooked grab meals and honesty bar makes it so easy to not have to worry about food and fun! The breakfast was so well done and yummo! And the retreat site was just beautiful, amongst native trees and so close to Binalong bay. One night is not enough! Book two! We got to relax the second day, wander the gardens, sit around the fire late afternoon til night. We hope to come back again soon.
OUTSTANDING ACCOMODATION!
We were really looking forward to this stop over in our trip and it exceeded our expectations ten fold. The staff were so accomodating, the kitchen and bathroom facilities were immaculate. It was such a tranquil and romantic setting. Wish we stayed longer. Highly, highly recommend! 11/10!
Everything about this place is perfect. From the welcome by Alex as we arrived, to the absolutely stunning tents fitted with beautiful detail - think large king bed with electric blankets and fresh white linen - to the jar of marshmallows to toast by the fire. The common area was exceptionally well-equipped with cooking facilities aplenty. The Honesty Bar was stocked with cheeses, salamis, olives, home made pesto from the garden along with prepared meals, local wines and craft beers. No need to leave this glorious place. A 10-minute drive in the morning to watch the sunrise over Taylors Beach then back to a fabulous breakfast as we watched a wallaby and her joey metres away. Such a wonderful experience. We will be back!
Everything about the place was excellent! It’s a very relaxing atmosphere. The communal kitchen, dining had a great ambience and had everything you needed. The pre prepared meals were delicious and so easy. We added fresh veggies from the garden. The fire pits were well used and bought people together. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
Speechless!
Facilities, amenities, staff, all of it was to die for! Extremely lush. We wish we had stayed longer.
Simply amazing!
Outstanding staff who set the tone for a relaxing and completely enjoyable stay with first class amenities in a beautiful pocket of bushland, and multiple hiking and secluded beach options just minutes away.
Its the small detail everywhere you turn here that puts the Glam into glamping!
The beds, the showers and bathrooms, the kitchen, the gourmet food/beverage/snack options, the multiple firepits (and marshmallows), the games, the wildlife.there is everything you need here for a peaceful and relaxing break.
Cannot recommend this place more highly.
